The atmosphere is lunck hour, the service was good , the ribs were far and away the best item. we got a soup bowl it was sorta flavorless. The sushi was all fresh and like anywhere else. not too pricy. $58 for a hearty lunch for two ordering whatever you wanted plus. sorry they do't have a menu on line... More

When I work in Salt Lake City, I usually stay at the Homewood Suites in downtown. I liked the fact that are a few restaurants where I just had to walk out of the front door of the hotel, and Dojo is one of them. The first time I went, the place was empty, but the service was terrible. I... More

Just got back from a horrible experience. First we had a waiter that had only been there 3 days and had absolutely NO clue. Our order was completely wrong, he brought the wrong drinks, wrong appetizer and forgot one and then comes to tell us that he is going out to party and his good friend will now be our... More

Next to the Homewood Suites and Rio Grande Train Depot building, this restaurant was suggested by the manager and assistant mgr of the Homewood Suites who eat their 2-3 times per week. We tried three different items and every dish was wonderful with the Shrimp Tempura and veggies the best. Staff is very good...attentive and knowledgable about the preparation and... More

We had marked out a lot of the good eateries in town because we LOVE food. I passed up Benihana's for this place and I do have some regrets. This place had good reviews on Urban Spoon. We walked in and were the only customers at 645pm on a Tuesday. It took a few minutes for someone to seat us... More

I went in and sat down, yelled hello 5 times and decided to leave after about 10 minutes. Can't say anything bad about the food though, because I never got any. I can say the service was horrible though!

I've been at and reviewed Dojo before and the food is just as good as ever, but on a recent Saturday night while dining before the symphony, we were thrilled to also be treated to a live jazz trio at 6:00 in the evening. What a nice addition, unthought of by many. Our sushi and sashimi were still beautifully prepared... More

very very overpriced for what you get in this neojapanese restaurant, i paid 30 for 9 pieces of fish that's not even cut correctly - the ramen is very plain, broth has no flavor, will definitely not return, the downtown naked nish is much much better
