Eva is dedicated to and named after chef Charlie Perry's great grandmother. Eva Coombs passed on her respect for quality ingredients, an emphasis on the nourishing benefits of food and most importantly, the shared pleasure of eating. At Eva, our tapas style dining promotes a communal sense of enjoyment. We have an extensive and varied small plates menu, craft cocktails and hand picked wine list.

Intimate dining with yummy tapas

We wanted a late night bite after a show and were told of Eva. This cozy intimate restaurant (you will know your neighbor) hit the spot. They had a wide selection of tapas from vegetarian to beef and all between. The food was very good and the service was friendly and prompt.

I was blown away by this wonderful, reasonably priced place in downtown Salt Lake City which serves inventive, flavorful, superb and oh so yummy small plates. We shared 4 deliciuos small plates which are presented in order of my personal preference: spinach and potato gnocchi with white wine cream sauce, peas, mushrooms, Parmesan and truffle oil; Moroccan roasted cauliflower with... Arrived on Tuesday night after a long flight. Wanted some small bites--at 8pm they were full-- we sat at the bar- great food-- try grilled asparagus on jalapeño aioli with poached egg, unique spanikopita, and fantastic cocktails and wine list. Service was great. Huge menu--we wanted everything and all food we saw looked beautiful. Get reservation. Our server Sommer was... More

I've been to Eva a few times and, just like wine, I think it has gotten better with age. During my most recent visit, we ordered several dishes that were excellent. The meatballs were extraordinary, as was the asparagus with egg.

Loved the small plates. We ordered 3 different ones and shared it. The calamari was fabulous, and we had great cocktails. also love the location down town and close to lots of night life.

Visited Eva with some friends and I had no idea that a gem like this was so close to my home. It is in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City and has a very cool and hip vibe. The menu is very diverse and everything we tried was amazing. I highly recommend the Shrimp & Grits! I'll be going... More

I've been to Eva's multiple times due to the great variety of food and excellent quality. The environment is nice. Bring in your own bottle of wine and they will charge a corkage fee which is alright. I love the rib's and fries. Will return again this weekend.

I was really excited to eat at Eva. Out of the 6 things we ordered, only 4 were worth the price. I want to note that the description of all the menu items looked delicious but sadly we found that some were lacking in flavor and it wasn't expected. Things I would go back for in a heartbeat: Oink, Oink,... More

Pro- Great serving sizes (think tapas style, but not Spanish) perfect for sharing with friends. They're allergy friendly and the waitstaff knows which orders are dairy free, gluten free, etc. The ambiance was good and perfect for a younger 20's - 30's crowd. A person could get away with ordering just one plate if they weren't sharing and if they... More

Just found this area of slc. Great menu with small plates. Loved the French flatbread made with brie, pears, walnuts topped with arugula.
