Eva is dedicated to and named after chef Charlie Perry's great grandmother. Eva Coombs passed on her respect for quality ingredients, an emphasis on the nourishing benefits of food and most importantly, the shared pleasure of eating. At Eva, our tapas style dining promotes a communal sense of enjoyment. We have an extensive and varied small plates menu, craft cocktails and hand picked wine list.

Great concept with unusual foods

This is primarily a Tapas restaurant. They have some of the most unusual small plates and all were tasty. We shared 8 of their small plates. The alcohol selection is extensive as well. The plates are a bit pricey for what you get, but if you are in the mood to explore and expand your taste buds... read more

This restaurant is in the center of downtown and is very easy to get to. There is a public parking garage around the corner, with a short, easy walk. The restaurant is small with about 20 tables made of dark wood. Some tables line the walls with bench seating on one side and a chair on the other side of... More

Eva is small plate style restaurant... We arrived around 5:30p on a weeknight. There was free street parking after 6p. It was quiet when we arrived, but by 6:30p, all the tables were filled (there is seating in the back). The price for our 4 adult dinner, no alcohol, was very reasonable. The food was tasty and fresh. The meal... More

Eva's has adapted the best of the Spanish tapas style, but has much better food options. It is also a lot more expensive, but we had a very nice family evening reminiscing about Spain, drinking Spanish wine, and eating rounds of small plates. We ordered a couple of things at a time, enjoyed our wine -- wine list is pretty... More

I must say the service was fantastic but the food is just ok. I was disappointed to say the least. Good drinks though.

It was so cold outside and we walked in to warmth and delicious smells. Tiny little place with great atmosphere and even better food. We love eating tapas style food. We will be back as my husband thought the schnitzel was top notch.

If you are looking for a casual date and a small bites to start your evening, this place is one of the great choice in town. We ordered a glass of red wine with cheese and meat selection. I love the taleggio crostini with orange marmalade, so delicious! The slow-roasted wagyu steak bruschetta with lemon, parmesan, aioli, radicchio. The wagyu... More

This is one of those places I would like to love but can't because the food is standing in my way. Nice location and ambience, within walking distance from lots of downtown condos and apartments and public transit.

My husband and I love coming here to start our night on the town, haha. Great food selection, using local food products. We usually get a few small plates to share and a bottle of wine, The atmosphere is perfect, and the food is a great change from the everyday usuals. I would love to come with a group and... More
