Good Food, Close to Trax

This was my first visit to Eva. The restaurant/ambiance: Small and narrow, typical of restaurants on Main Street. I was a little disappointed when I saw the inside - the tables are too close together. This would be great for a group of friends, but as I was there by myself (with a good book... read more

The tapas here are amazing. The menu changes a bit season to season but EVERYTHING we've ever eaten here has been wonderful. The small plates are perfect for two people to share. We typically get 3 or 4 small plates between the two of us and it's just right. The variety of flavors offers anyone and everyone something to savor.

This place was recommended to us by our hotel and we loved it. They have a nice selection of food and wine and it's right downtown.

We visited that restaurant in July to have a pre-wedding dinner. After a 20minutes waiting time for a dinner table outside, we were seated at a table that was full with small insects. We should have left the restaurant by then, but we decided to change tables. Big mistake. We wanted to order a bottle of white wine then and... More

Love sharing the small plates giving us a chance to try many different menu items. The food here is excellent. Try the beet salad and crab cakes. They have a cool little cozy patio set between two buildings.

This was a place that we found on Yelp when we were passing through Salt Lake City going east a couple of weeks ago on a road trip, and so we went there with one of our kids based on this. The food was quite good, essentially tapas of all sorts, and pretty hip, so we were pleasantly surprised by... More

I had a difficult time convincing my wife to venture into Eva's. I had per used the menu and read TA reviews so I was confidant. I knew she woul like the vegetable plates. We had the beet salad, fantastic! Love the yogurt dressing; asparagus with the poached egg and shredded Parmesan melded to form a wonderful dressing. The roasted... More

Salt Lake City downtown isn't an oasis of restaurants. There are a lot of the "same old, same old" that you get in every tourist area. Eva is an exception. Based on smalls plates and a very nice wine list, it's fun to visit and to enjoy. It gets a good sized crowd but you'll always find a seat. Their... More

What we ordered: meatballs, flatbread, sweet potatoes au gratin, sangria, and some kind of signature cocktail. All of the food was delicious and full of flavor. Drinks were really strong though. Sangria had warm flavors that made me think they used a rum instead of wine. Service was good and the waitress's knowledge of the menu was impressive. We had... More
