We went to Pago's this very rainy morning to get some German Baby Pancakes, arrived at 9:40AM, walked in the door, were told they don't open until 10AM. We asked if we could sit at a table and wait and maybe get some coffee as it was a downpour outside, we were told sorry you have to go to Coffee... More

I know Pago is rated one of the top restaurants in SLC - but I just don't get it. I've been here for lunch twice and the food was bad both times. The first time I ordered a tuna melt and the bread was completely burned and the tuna was gloopy. So bad I sent it back. The replacement wasn't... More

Pago continues to be great! The service was on point, with great recommendations, and anticipating our needs. We tried many dishes on the menu, and they were all tasty, and well presented. The stand-outs were the chicken, carrots, beet salad, and oysters. Will be back!

What really stood out was the interesting combination of ingredients which made for great favors. The presentation of the dishes was excellent as well. I had a fresh oyster sampler, actually three to be totally honest, they were that good! Each was 3 raw Pacific oysters, carefully seasoned and beautifully garnished. Down the hatch. The main dish that followed was... More

We made the reservation based on SLC's mags. Annual Best restaurants. Apparently after five years of being open they've hit the right combination of decor, food and service. It works well. The servers are extremely knowledgeable about the menu and very professional. We ordered the carrot app., the roasted barbq beet app and the cheese tray. All were excellent. For... More

Was pleasantly surprised by the ambience, service and food. Every dish was meticulously prepared with attention to flavors, subflavors and visual presentation. My trout was perfect, I had a taste of my friend's beef + chimichurri and that was superb as well. We tried several appetizers, every one of them had character. I liked the privacy as well - unlike,... More

Went there for lunch. It was very good. The fries that came with our burger were as good as they get. The only negative was that it took a little while to get waited on. But that was minor. Food was excellent.

Suggest by a local...I would agree it is hip and farm/table type place. I had the burger and I have to say it was very good. Beer and wine selection is small and pricey. The truffle Fries were loved by everyone at the table. The salad portion is enough for two. The pork and chicken were well done. Overall I... More
