I always want to like this restaurant but I feel like they need to be simpler and taste the food that they are cooking. It is always too complex--like they are throwing in all of the fancy food items they can think of at once. The result for me every time is just blah. I don't really enjoy the attitude... More

I didn't know anything about Pago when we went there. It was very nice. The environment was good for a couple. Our server was very nice, even excited. The food overall was very good although we had some unpleasant tasting oysters. We had other good tasting oysters but I still wouldn't recommend them. The gnocchi was great!

This places was delicious!! It is in a cute, but small, building. Very trendy and hipster, made with local and organic food. We came for brunch by accident, but they still had a hamburger and chicken fried steak you could order instead of breakfast food. The hamburger was seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had. It had a... More

It's great to see a restaurant of this caliber in the 9th and 9th district, a sure sign that this neighborhood is up and coming. The menu isn't huge, but every selection we tried was excellent, with one exception. My wife's gnocchi entree was a very small portion and served lukewarm. She ate it anyway since we'd waited a while... More

I went to Pago for dinner last night with my co-workers. We had a reservation for 8:15 but we got there a few minutes early. Dave checked us in and asked us to wait at the bar as there were no tables available immediately. After waiting about 45 minutes we were seated. In the meantime, our server Dave, recommended wines... Four of us met about noon for Sunday brunch. Thankfully, we had a reservation as it was packed. This was my first visit to Pago and I have nothing negative to say. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. The staff were very attentive. Everything that we ordered came out quickly and right. The food was both visually appetizing and the... More

CHICKEN FEET ON YHE PLATE? My mother got chicken feet on her plate with the chicken dish she ordered. She complained about the feet and said it was unappealing and ruined her appetite to some degree. The server and chef argued with her and said it was a delicacy to which she repond by asking to at least clip the... More

This is our second visit to Pago, but the first time we've been there in a few years. Quite frankly, we don't go more often because the menu tends to be small and there is not a wide variety of options. But after last night, we will make it our business to return more frequently. The service was outstanding. The... More
