Intimate setting with excellent, local and fresh food and service

This place is tiny and intimate but not in any way cramped. Service is personal, perhaps overwhelming. Food excellent.

This is a great place for a date, couples or quiet relaxed dinner. If you like different places that are not "stuffy" this is your place. We want as a group of 6 (considered a large group) and enjoyed an evening of good food and relaxed service. We never felt rushed or was bothered during or meal or conversations. The... More

This was my second time dining at Pago, and often subsequent dining never matches the original experience. However, Pago bucked this trend, bettering the original and confirming its excellence. This was an important meal as we were entertaining my wife's future boss. We wanted everything on point. To meet this end, I called ahead requesting Ethel as our server. I... More

Conveniently located in the 9th and 9th area, Pago emphasizes locally sourced (when possible) ingredients that are beautifully prepared to emphasize flavor. I had an absolutely delicious and not wimpy Cesar salad based on kale rather than romaine lettuce. There was a nice balance of acid and garlic. One of our group tried and loved the carrot curry squash soup.... More

Restaurant is small and cozy. The food is really good and the wait staff is super professional. It's in a cool part of town with cool shops and and a retro movie theater.

This is not your father's Salt lake City! Pago would be a gourmet experience in any city. Located in a pocket of activity in SLC called "Ninth and Ninth," Pago is a small, storefront restaurant with an open kitchen. The ambiance and decor remind me of restaurants in San Francisco. Elegance is lacking, but comfortability present. Service was warm, friendly,... More

This is a pleasant enough venue in a neighborhood setting with a good and accommodating wait staff. The food is attractively presented and strives for the unusual but good ideas are sometimes imperfectly realized. For example, one of us ordered clams in a broth which included diced turnips-the clams and broth were OK but the turnips were raw. Another ordered... More

The chef at Pago is focused on sourcing sustainable local foods. I like theirs little gem and visit quarterly to experience the seasonal menu!

Went here for dinner before an event and had one of the best meals I have eaten in SLC. Appetizers we splurged on were delicious and inventive. My fish entrée was divine and my friends' dishes looked beautiful. Deserts are equally beautiful and delectable. Can't wait to go again. (As it has become very popular, you must make a reservation... Pago was impressive. We went for Sunday brunch - the menu and the wine list were both very impressive. We had the dutch pancake, which was amazing, but I wish I could have tried many other things on the menu. They were also very accommodating to me as a vegetarian and the server was friendly and helpful in suggesting other... More
