Pretty sushi, good price

Though the menu was a little perplexing, had a nice meal here with colleagues. The quality of the rice and it's careful prep were notable. I love sushi but I love it when it is fresh and you can taste it (not covered in chili and mayonnaise) and feel terrible if it is not sustainable. If you feel the same, the Naked Fish is the place to go. If you like your sushi drowned out in hot or sweet mayonnaise, go to Sappa or Takashi.... More

In town for a convention with friends. Stopped in based upon YELP reviews. Everyone at Naked Fish was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of attention to customers and details, but not overly so/fussy...my friend and I tried a variety of hot dishes as well as cold. We loved everything! If you like Japanese pickles try them here!! The chef forages... More

Premium sushi at premium price. Other meals and service were very good. Spicy edamame has thick sauce and was messy to eat. Dessert was remarkable. Cocktail was good though pricey. Overall a good experience, despite dining alone. Would come back.

Fantastic place in downtown Salt Lake City - such a great surprise to find such a quality sushi place in Utah! Fantastic service, delicious food and nice wine/beer and sake selection. Definitely worth recommending!

Naked Fish is an almost authentic Japanese restaurant. Most dishes are a la carte, and are quite good . It is possible to run up quite a tab if you aren't careful. Wait staff and bartenders were friendly and helpful.

This is a great Sushi/Japanese restaurant. The sushi was great. We went twice in 5 days! They also have some great wine selections. Order the sushi but don't forget the tempura and the udon noodles. Really great. The noodles have an amazing broth.

While the six of us had to wait for over an hour, ultimately the quality of the Naked Fish' fabulous sushi had us singing this restaurant's praise. Sitting around a traditional oriental dining table was fun. Plus our waiter was knowledgable and made excellent suggestions

I had an FANTASTIC roll and lovely sushi here - the roll had a thin lemon sliver on it that gave it the most amazing and interesting taste. Sat at the sushi bar and watched the magic happen. Also had a wonderful strong cocktail. I highly recommend!

Tiny portions, high prices, inflated charges ($4.50 for edamame that we didn't order and $4.95 for a little bowl of rice), all in a sterile, industrial, loud setting. There are half a dozen much better Japanese restaurants within half a mile.
