Sushi

Excellent sushi with excellent fish. Appetizers are delicious and there is a decent selection of Japanese beer. This place is pricey but worth it.

Definitely a higher-end sushi / Japanese restaurant. Service was very good; our sever was friendly, helpful and well-informed. Unfortunately our first wine choice was sold out, but I don't think that's solely the restaurant's fault. Not too noisy, comfortable to chat with colleagues over dinner. Recommended.

Strange presentation. To start, we came in off street - no reservation - the place had 3 tables seated at most. We came in and the woman at the desk asked for our First and Last name (???) as if we were going to have to wait. She typed it in the computer and printed a slip off - handed... More

Just as with past visits to Naked Fish, the food was delicious. Unlike past visits, the menu seems to have transformed from a solid menu to one that emphasizes style over ease of use. It comes folded in 6ths (not quite origami though) and has not one, but two "tapas"-like sections (warm and cold). The maki rolls list the ingredients... More

Though the menu was a little perplexing, had a nice meal here with colleagues. The quality of the rice and it's careful prep were notable. Each grain of rice somehow maintained it's shape and integrity, which made the sushi come across as carefully prepared and quite delicious. Seems weird to eat raw fish in a landlocked state, but this was... More

I love sushi but I love it when it is fresh and you can taste it (not covered in chili and mayonnaise) and feel terrible if it is not sustainable. If you feel the same, the Naked Fish is the place to go. If you like your sushi drowned out in hot or sweet mayonnaise, go to Sappa or Takashi.... More

In town for a convention with friends. Stopped in based upon YELP reviews. Everyone at Naked Fish was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of attention to customers and details, but not overly so/fussy...my friend and I tried a variety of hot dishes as well as cold. We loved everything! If you like Japanese pickles try them here!! The chef forages... More

Premium sushi at premium price. Other meals and service were very good. Spicy edamame has thick sauce and was messy to eat. Dessert was remarkable. Cocktail was good though pricey. Overall a good experience, despite dining alone. Would come back.
