My wife loves sushi, so that when we saw this restaurant, and it was so close to where we were staying, she wanted to try it. Although I can eat sushi, I am not crazy about it, although I love to have the bento dishes and other Japanese cuisine. Well, I am sorry to report that although this place advertises... More

Visited with a friend who had been here the year previously and remembered it was good and authentic. Food was very good. We shared a few plates and they were all good. Only downer was waiter who kept hovering and we felt pressured at every step. To order, to eat, to pay, to leave. Calm the farm man, let us... More

I have tried a lot sushi restaurants and this is the best I have found in Utah. Does not disappoint. Has all the classic rolls as well as several unique rolls you have to try. Also if you are downtown for lunch, you have to try the ramen. This isn't your $.25 Top Ramen, this is the real deal. Most... More

I love the ramen here, but that is all. Management is awful, clearly. Servers are super slow and dull. They have a lunch menu but will not use it a lot of the time, they just close for no reason or posting. Went yesterday and five people were outside confused, cause they were closed. I am sick of being disappointed... More

My husband and I enjoyed an immensely satisfying noodle bowl lunch here after a long bike ride. We each ordered a curry bowl with added poached egg, and also shared the chicken wings. The noodle bowls were piping hot, with perfectly cooked noodles, well-balanced broth, and an assortment of fresh, perfectly cooked vegetables and meat. Excellent lunch and would definitely... More

Really fun, inventive sushi. They even had Walu Nigiri, which I have not seen anywhere outside of Hawaii. The staff was friendly, the sushi chef was fun as well. Would highly recommend.

Easily the best sushi around, long running restaurant and a staple of downtown! But went for lunch with a colleague and loved the ramen lunch menu! Don't waste time anywhere else!

This is not one of those places that sets down a large roll in front of you. These are unique and crafted dishes. Our waiter was great and explained everything very well to us. We would each order one dish at a time. While we ate, we'd order the next round. Because the dishes weren't huge, we were able to... More
