My brother and I were in from out of town and remembered eating here before a few years ago. The food was good before so why not? The food was still excellent. I had the salmon with asparagus and brother had the fried shrimp. We were both pleased with our dinner and the view over the water is wonderful. The... More

Our drinks were generous. Food was good. Service was slow but the server was quite pleasant. The prices seemed quite good for the quality of our dinners.

We were a little worried when we first walked in, service seemed a tad unorganized, and the place was empty. But, once we were helped things seemed to flow. The food was good, and I would recommend. My husband and I were just back in PA in December, but did not try again, since we had other areas we were... More

Steak Oscar was nicely well-done with generous portion of Dungeness crab on top; Hollandaise sauce well-executed; fresh asparagus was tender; fresh bread was warm and soft. Each ingredient and preparation was high quality. One quibble: One of the most expensive entrees in a small town still deserves butter in a dish rather than in aluminum foil that has to be... More

My husband and I stopped here for a late lunch on our drive around the Olympic Peninsula, and it was exactly what we were looking for--a seafood place with great views of the port. We shared the halibut and chips and then each had clam chowder and a salad. The halibut was fresh and fried to a nice, crisp golden... More

Had the steak oscar and it was pretty good. Baked potato - basic. Clam chowder average. Service was fine. All the P.A. restaurants are priced much higher than the equivilant any where else.

Downriggers is fantastic for so many reasons. A beautiful waterfront view of the Port Angeles Harbor where you can see the ferry to Victoria BC arrive & depart and watch the cruise ships pass through the Strait of Juan de Fuca. They have fantastic food and even better service! My husband and I have a set dinner date once a... More

I've been going to the Downrigger for MANY years now. It was a consistent stop for lunch with clients when I visited the area and now that I live here-I try to go as often as I can. Family or friends in town, special night out or just ready for a great meal and wonderful atmosphere-this is my choice...

The Downrigger is located upstairs right at the Ferry dock. The food is good and the view of the ferry crossing from Victoria, Canada to Port Angeles, WA and docking is an added attraction while you enjoy a few drinks and a good meal. Our server Jim was great, he had a good sense of humor and we really enjoyed... More

The service and the food were good. It is definitely a seafood restaurant. The service and good were good but maybe a little pricey.
