Lovely water views from every table in the dining room. Comfortable surroundings, friendly and attentive service. So much potential for an unforgettable lunch on a sunny summer day. But all three dishes we ordered were pretty forgettable. Not bad, but just kind of "meh." My bland, sticky, cornstarch-thickened dungeness crab and shrimp fettuccini was not the soulful seafood I was... More

We stopped for lunch today at Downriggers in Port Angeles. We both had the Fried Clams with coleslaw and fries. Deb had an iced tea and I had the Georgetown Porter. Weverything was fine and we had a great view.

The prices are high, $25 for the Halibut fish and chips. We got cod, 4 pieces with a few fries and little side of coleslaw. Peel off the batter and find a small piece of tasteless cod. A friend had the cashew stir fry and said it was good, large portion. Beautiful, nice view. Waitress was young and delightful. Just... More

I'm not sure why this restaurant isn't in the top for seafood. It was recommended to us by a local, & it did not disappoint. The Salmon, clam chowder, & pasta dishes were very good. The berry cobbler was excellent. It was our top dinner while we were in the area, but had difficulty trying to find it on tripadvisor,... More

Clam chowder with tons of clams... Thick and too filling... Seafood Louise salad petite was very generous. Coleslaw... Needs some seasoning--it was fresh and colorful but blah. Halibut fish and chips...some of the best we've ever had with halibut cooked perfectly with three generous pieces. Server was sooo helpful. Very accommodating. Pricey but would recommend.

This is one of the best places to take guests. The food is very good (and more importantly, consistent), the service is friendly but not overdone, and the place is very romantic! The water view is the best in town. The bartender makes great drinks, including lots of "specialty" items, and bar service for lunch or appetizers is less formal... More

Food was pretty good, but a little pricey. Crab appetizer was good. Staff was friendly. Very nice view, and it was nice to be able to see the ferry and other ships coming into port

The clam chowder is awesome - you shouldn't miss it. Had shrimp skewers with rice and asparagus. That too were delicious. Add the great service and the harbor view and you have a great place to finish a trip around the Olympic peninsula.

Delicious meal, friendly employees, good menu selection, nice prices. View was nice too. Large salad, cup and generous bowl of clam chowder, two alcoholic drinks, one dessert - $35 http://www.downriggerspa.com/

I can always count on a good meal, good service and a wonderful view at Downrigger's. I have never been disappointed in my food choice. They have a lot of seafood choices, so this is where we usually recommend people go if they want seafood. Downrigger's is upstairs, in the back overlooking the water - next to the ferry dock....
