We went to Port Angeles for our anniversary weekend. We decided that Michael's menu looked nice. There was a 30 minute wait, sat at a lounge table, ordered a cocktail and waited. The booths looked private and very comfortable. When our table was ready, we were taken to another room in the back. The feeling in the room was totally... More

We lucked into being at Michael's on a Sunday evening and can see why locals flock there for the weekly special. Our roast chicken feast for 2 was priced like a single meal at most decent restaurants and every bite was delicious. The clam chowder was some of the tastiest of the trip, the Caesar salad was topped by 2... More

This restaurant was exceptional and the service above and beyond. We went for our anniversary and had the seafood piella. There was so much food we ate it for dinner again the next day. Everyone was friendly and made us feel like we belonged. The margaritas are made with fresh squeezed limes. Superior restaurant with awesome atmosphere.

After a long day of traveling we stopped here based on the reviews. We were seated right away and the ambiance was cozy and that's about where it ended. Nobody came and got our drink order, nobody got our meal order, nobody noticed we had been sitting patiently for 10 minutes with our menus closed at the end of the... More

We went here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and after reading reviews were excited about the dinner but oh my gosh...staff was rude right from the start, the ambiance was stuffy and very very geriatric crowd, the food was the worst part of it, our paella was horribly salty, undercooked, and to top it off, over $70 for us... I came here with friends in June for dinner. The menu was large and there was plenty of choice. However, compared to other places I ate in PA and other places close by, I just didn't think the food lived up to my expectations based on what I had read here and on other websites. Maybe I chose the wrong... More

We returned to Michael's on our last visit and were disappointed. The variety of seafood items was surprisingly limited, especially in terms of fresh fish. My wife's item had a strawberry sauce on it, lessening the fish's flavor. Overall quality was poor-to-average. Prices fairly high, IMHO. The atmosphere is sort of old-school steakhouse. No view (you're essentially in a baement... More

After a long day of driving and hiking the east side of Olympic National Park, we took the hotel desk clerk's recommendation for a good place for craft beer by hitting the Lazy Moon. We were a little skeptical as we entered to a completely empty bar, but decided to have a beer and enjoy the solitude. The two employees... More

I almost gave up trying to find a good steak house near me.... Then I was invited to join some friends at Michaels. One of the best meals that I've had since I moved to the Olympic Peninsula. Service is done at a slower pace to let you enjoy your meal and never feel hurried. Excellent Steak, Superb grilled prawns... More

Nice atmosphere and friendly accommodating staff. However, the menu is a little pricey and the food was just average.
