I came here with friends in June for dinner. The menu was large and there was plenty of choice. However, compared to other places I ate in PA and other places close by, I just didn't think the food lived up to my expectations based on what I had read here and on other websites. Maybe I chose the wrong... More

We returned to Michael's on our last visit and were disappointed. The variety of seafood items was surprisingly limited, especially in terms of fresh fish. My wife's item had a strawberry sauce on it, lessening the fish's flavor. Overall quality was poor-to-average. Prices fairly high, IMHO. The atmosphere is sort of old-school steakhouse. No view (you're essentially in a baement... More

After a long day of driving and hiking the east side of Olympic National Park, we took the hotel desk clerk's recommendation for a good place for craft beer by hitting the Lazy Moon. We were a little skeptical as we entered to a completely empty bar, but decided to have a beer and enjoy the solitude. The two employees... More

I almost gave up trying to find a good steak house near me.... Then I was invited to join some friends at Michaels. One of the best meals that I've had since I moved to the Olympic Peninsula. Service is done at a slower pace to let you enjoy your meal and never feel hurried. Excellent Steak, Superb grilled prawns... More

Nice atmosphere and friendly accommodating staff. However, the menu is a little pricey and the food was just average.

Wow, what a let down. After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor we thought this would be a solid bet. We were ready for the steep prices but not for the average food and pathetic service on a Friday night. We were sat immediately by a cheerful hostess who indicated our waiter would be by shortly. It took about 10... More

My traveling companions and I rolled into Port Angles after a long day of travel... After checking into our hotel we went in search of sustenance. After checking several reviews on local restaurants and finding several of them closed or gone we landed on Michales steakhouse. It was not a good experience. Almost every dish was AT LEAST $50 if... Service was great, it was quiet - a problem in many restaurants which is hard for older folks. Given special attention due to our anniversary including the owner even coming over to congratulate us.

This was a very expensive Meal. Over 200 for two with wine and one dessert. But the food was superb. Not really creative, but so well prepared. I had filet and my partner had steak and crab. The crab cake was fabulous. We had it as an appetizer but if I had known how good it was I would have... More

Fresh seafood, excellent service, excellent wine, nice atmosphere. Fried oysters were the best! Very nice desserts. Would recommend to anyone wanting an above average meal
