I have eaten here twice now and will visit each time I'm in town. Excellent food. Great service. Highly recommended.

My wife and I over nighted in Port Angeles on our way back to Canada and were recommended this place by our motel manager. We both had an 8 oz filet mignon and both were cooked to perfection. The rest of our meals were simple but a perfect accompaniment to a perfect steak. The decor is charming. We split two... More

My wife and I had our first lunch at Michael's the year it opened, 2001. Michael greeted us as he has every time since: at the table during the meal, making sure we were satisfied. He was an early subscriber to dining excellence and a great culinary experience. I have hosted parties of from 3 to 30 of oceanography academics... More

Excellent seafood and service-willing to adapt to our tastes. Looks old world but they make some nice lighter preparations too. If we'd had 2 nights in Pt. Angeles, we probably would have returned a second time.

I love the atmosphere and the cocktails. They have vintage cocktail and a fabulous fresh margarita called the Old Mexico. This goes with some delicious food! You can't go wrong here!

Decided to try Michaels for our 29th anniversary and were very disappointed. The service was very good but the food was mediocre, at best. My wife started with a cup of chowder that was excessively thick and floury and rather tasteless. This trend continued into the main course. My wife ordered the mixed seafood sampler plate ($27.99) and it was... More

I took one of my team member here for their annual review and was delighted by the entrance leading to the dining area! Once seated our waiter, though nice, was very uninformed when it came to the menu and had to go back and ask the chef several diffrent times to get answers to our questions. However the food made... We stopped at Kokopelli Grill, but were unable to get a table for 45 minutes so we walked up to Michaels. What a nice 2nd choice. After a cup of some great chowder and bread w/tapenade, we shared yummy Market Salmon with well seasoned mashed potatoes and heirloom grilled carrots. It was perfectly prepared and wonderful flavors.

We happened onto Michaels last year after an extremely long day of hiking in Olympic National Park and were shy about entering such a nice restaurant in such a casual (dare I say dirty) state. We asked the hostess if it was okay and we were greeted and welcomed warmly. The dinner and the atmosphere was so good we remembered... More
