We have always enjoyed Michael's for an enjoyable dining experience in Port Angeles, however, recently it has become our #1 place to eat in town. Michael has created exquisite cocktails, the best Caesar dressing I've ever had (he gave us the recipe), and a wide variety of meal options. I had the Mixed Grill dinner (Caesar salad, sirloin, prawns, potato,... More

I order the special of the day - Bistecca. It was dry and not very tasty. There were 3 of us in our party and out bill totaled $90. That is a bit spendy for a steak that tasted like paper. The atmosphere was nice.

We dined at Michael's on a Monday night and had very good food and service. I had the 8 ounce sirloin, and the steak, potatoes and vegetables were all well prepared. I had a good zinfandel along with the steak -- they have an extensive wine list. We obviously had a great time because we spent over two hours at... More

We've been to Michael's a few times now and it lives up to its reputation as one of the fine dining experiences in Port Angeles. Very good food and service with a nice wine selection as well. Our meals have always been fantastic. This is a lovely spot for a romantic dinner or for dinner with friends . However, for... More

My wife and I over nighted in Port Angeles on our way back to Canada and were recommended this place by our motel manager. We both had an 8 oz filet mignon and both were cooked to perfection. The rest of our meals were simple but a perfect accompaniment to a perfect steak. The decor is charming. We split two... More

My wife and I had our first lunch at Michael's the year it opened, 2001. Michael greeted us as he has every time since: at the table during the meal, making sure we were satisfied. He was an early subscriber to dining excellence and a great culinary experience. I have hosted parties of from 3 to 30 of oceanography academics... More

Excellent seafood and service-willing to adapt to our tastes. Looks old world but they make some nice lighter preparations too. If we'd had 2 nights in Pt. Angeles, we probably would have returned a second time.

I love the atmosphere and the cocktails. They have vintage cocktail and a fabulous fresh margarita called the Old Mexico. This goes with some delicious food! You can't go wrong here!

Decided to try Michaels for our 29th anniversary and were very disappointed. The service was very good but the food was mediocre, at best. My wife started with a cup of chowder that was excessively thick and floury and rather tasteless. This trend continued into the main course. My wife ordered the mixed seafood sampler plate ($27.99) and it was... More
