A group of us had dinner at Michael's last year and we enjoyed the fish we had so much, we decided to return again this year and were glad we did! We had a wonderful meal! Our reservations were at 6:00 pm and we arrived early. They were able to seat us right away. Happy hour lasted until 6:00 p.m.,... More

Don't come to PA for the food. Lots of underperforming restaurants here. My wife and I spent 6 days here hiking and kayaking in Olympic National Park and ate in a lot of restaurants. We were going to go back to the Gastropub for our last night here but the line was too long. I asked one of the locals... More

We have dinner at Michaels whenever we are in Port Angeles, which has been over a period of years. We have never been disappointed and have sent friends who have enjoyed it too. I love the cozy booths. Too many restaurant have too many tables, too close together in our opinion. this time, I had the crab cakes, which were... More

We got off the ferry from Victoria BC and looked up Michaels on Trip Advisor. We arrived at 5:30pm and were quickly seated in a booth. The restaurant is downstairs and has many very private booths. We had happy hour cocktails and they bring fresh bread with dipping sauce that is delicious. My husband had a cup of clam chowder... More

We dined here 2 evenings in a row. 1st time - poor service; 35 minutes to get glasses of wine; it took 20 more minutes to get our orders; salmon overcooked & tasteless. 2nd time - service good; however the beef stir-fry special was not edible - beef overcooked, sugar peas were raw/not cooked at all & sauce too heavy.... The restaurant entrance is does not show what you are going to get when you get there. This is really a very nice restaurant with very good food and staff. The owner is very accomodating and humble person, Michael. His father makes the greeting rounds to all diner for a little chat. All this makes the experience of inclusiveness. This... More

This restaurant is right in town. The atmosphere is nice with a variety of wines and draft beers. We ate light fare with 4 of us eating salads and soups. Nothing special about the salads, though I thought somewhat pricey. The clam chowder was good. Service was excellent and the highlight of the experience. Restaurants in the surrounding area were all... More

We went to Port Angeles for our anniversary weekend. We decided that Michael's menu looked nice. There was a 30 minute wait, sat at a lounge table, ordered a cocktail and waited. The booths looked private and very comfortable. When our table was ready, we were taken to another room in the back. The feeling in the room was totally... More

We lucked into being at Michael's on a Sunday evening and can see why locals flock there for the weekly special. Our roast chicken feast for 2 was priced like a single meal at most decent restaurants and every bite was delicious. The clam chowder was some of the tastiest of the trip, the Caesar salad was topped by 2... More

This restaurant was exceptional and the service above and beyond. We went for our anniversary and had the seafood piella. There was so much food we ate it for dinner again the next day. Everyone was friendly and made us feel like we belonged. The margaritas are made with fresh squeezed limes. Superior restaurant with awesome atmosphere.
