Amazing hidden gem - Wonderful breakfasts

Hard to find because the sign is not obvious (under an overhang). Most of the customers seemed to be local. We got there at 7:45AM and by 8:30PM there was a line out the door to get in. Portions are huge. We had 4 people and ordered 2 breakfasts to split. Home made pastries are memorable. We will... read more

Most people will tell you this place is amazing, and if you just want a muffin and a cup of coffee, they are right. But, if you want a real breakfast, go anywhere else. Their food is terrible. Right down to the bacon that they have precooked and dip in grease to warm before serving. YUK!

We're very sorry you had a poor experience at the Haven. Most of our customers do not think our food is terrible, so hearing this kind of feedback is troubling. If there was a specific issue with your food, we'd love to solve it. If you'd like to contact us by email at firststreethaven@gmail.com, we'd be happy to talk. One... More

We were on vacation along the West Coast and stayed in Port Angeles for a night. We stopped here for breakfast before our whale watch tour. The baked goods are delicious, omelettes great, bacon had a good flavor. The price, I thought, was reasonable with the amount you received. We got there earlier, 7:30, and good thing we did. There... We stop in here every year and it's always been very delicious. The fresh berry scones are the best I've ever had. Get there early on weekends- seating is limited.

My wife and I stopped by here for lunch yesterday and really enjoyed our meal. The place is small and was very busy while we were there. Out waitress was going a 100 miles an hour but was able to be friendly and efficient. My wife had the Veggie Scramble and I had the fish tacos. Both meals were good... More

I have dined here many times for breakfast and lunch. Excellent service and wonderful baked goods. The Restaurant is small but the wait staff will help you locate a spot. My favorite breakfast in downtown Port Angeles. Walking distance from downtown lodging and a walk after breakfast will let you see the great murals depicting historic scenes of the city.

This place was amazing. I understand why it's #1 in PA. Amazingly fresh food and quick service. This place is however really small and you might feel a little packed in if it gets busy. The service however didn't suffer from it. If I ever got back to PA I will definitely hit this place again.

We have been on vacation for a week, eating out every day. This is the best breakfast of the week. The scrambles have so much flavor. They had regular and dark roast.

Delicious breakfast for all 5 of us! Coffee was great which never happens at a diner. OJ was fresh squeezed. Lots of choices and fresh seasonal fresh specialties. Must go there for breakfast in Port Angeles.

If you're looking for a breakfast place in Port Angeles, it is worth going to the First Street Haven. The breakfast is very good and filling. The fresh baked goods stood out more than the breakfast meal. The cinnamon bun and coffee cake we had was excellent. I want to return to the restaurant again just to have the fresh... More
