Fun place to eat

Toga is a master at everything he prepares. Soups are so delicious! Sandwiches are creative and wonderful. It's fun to watch the cooks prepare the meals.

First time here and went with a friend! I ordered the Monte Cristo Panini--it was delicious & hit the spot! It is topped with Virginia baked honey ham, thin sliced oven roasted turkey, crispy apple wood smoked bacon slices, gruyere & provolone cheese melts together on grilled Bell Street sourdough bread. I also ordered a small soup which was the... More

After looking for lunch we stumbled on this spot. My wife & I had a mushroom soup which was made using sheri, good but not great. Sister in law had a very nice salad. It was a little pricey but that's from the view of a midwesterner.

This dump was recommended to us for homemade food, especially the soups, which I love soups homemade. Well, what a surprise....my wife's soup and mine was undistinguishable....as to what it was....a thick colourless goop....seriously awful. We tried to split a sandwich....couldn't eat the dried up bread....we sat out on the deck, which was pleasant....but terrible food here, so we left... More

I loved the food here. I had an open face sandwich with meat loaf and my husband had a salmon sandwich both of which were amazing. We also tried a cheese and beer soup. Never had it before. It was definitely something you might need to acquire a taste for but was worth trying. Overall, I would highly recommend this... More

Soup, soup, pretzel bread Fridays, salads, friendly servers. Excellent pastries served with a smile. We love this spot and come here for lunch whenever we can. I favor the salads and the roasted veggie soup. My partner goes for the deli dishes, heavy soups and meaty sandwiches. Our kids beg us to go on Fridays so we can bring back... More

My husband and I dine here frequently for good reason! Picture a quaint, older chalet type building with a lovely landscaped path to the front door. Upon entering, a stone path leads you to the ordering bar. Toga is the owner and gourmet chef with his wife and an occasional son or 2 working alongside. The atmosphere is cozy, pleasant,... More

We stopped at Toga's after checking the web for a sandwich shop recommendation. Our sandwich selection came off the daily special menu. This sandwich was the definition of freshness--from the ciabatta to the turkey (which tasted like it just came out of the oven). Note, this sandwich cost as much as some full service sit down lunches we have had.... More

We love the menu at this local bistro, which offers the tastiest soups, salads and sandwiches you can get locally. The Bisques and Carrot Soup are two of my favorites, as are the panini sandwiches, pulled pork or fresh King Salmon sandwich. A small deli is available with a variety of salads & sandwiches to go. Oh, and the specialized... More

This is a well decorated, casual restaurant where you order at the counter and food is brought to your table. We enjoyed the grilled crab and cheese sandwich, and a fresh salad. The soup was a little gloppy, maybe because it was the end of the day. Not cheap, but very pleasant.
