Came here for lunch. Had a chimichanga with the usual sides. It tasted really good and was very satisfying. The prices are comparable to other Mexican restaurants. I enjoyed the environment. Nice, heavy chairs await you at your table. You are surrounded by rustic brick work which is a nice choice. If you are looking for a good place to... More

Tired and hungry from a long road trip we ate here because it was across the street from our hotel. We walked in and asked how soon we could get an order to go. We ordered chicken soup, special nachos and fajitas. The food was ready in 10 minutes ! It was very good for the price and the portions... More

We reserved the back room at Margarita's for my mother-in-law's birthday. Management worked with us on setting up a group taco buffet that included rice and beans. The price quoted was fair and the food was very good. I cannot speak to individual menu items since that was not my experience with this establishment. I would add that the Margaritas... More

Had a hankering for Mexican on the way down I-75 and saw their billboard. Glad we did. Clean, friendly with decent prices. The taco soup was delicious as was the shredded chicken. Both the adult and kid's menu was extensive. The complimentary chips just kept coming until we asked them to stop! On a 9 day road trip this was... More

We drive between Illinois and Florida and plan our trips around stopping to stay in Macon GA so that we can visit Margarita's. We have always had excellent food, margaritas and service! Most recently we werer served by Wesley on our way south and Levi on our way north, one week apart. Wesley recognized us and stopped by a few... More

I sat at the bar and ordered a margarita, the Txas Margarita, made with Jose Cuervo tequila which is a poor grade tequila at best. It was $11.45! What a rip off! I had some cheese enchiladas that had pulled pork on top, for $9.95, reasonable. But really, I'm from Texas and I never heard of putting pulled pork on... More

We stayed overnight in Macon on our way to Florida. This restaurant is located on the Mercer University campus and was close to the Hilton Garden Inn where we were staying. The place was packed with college kids but as soon as we came in we were seated and our drink order was taken. We both ordered burritos with shrimp,... More

900 miles in 13 hours has us looking for good food & drinks in walking distance fr our lodging. This place was fab. Pitcher of patron silver margaritas for under $25 plus great food. Chicken soup really good. Carne asdada with grilled onions one of best versions we've had. Definitely place to visit even if you haven't driven all day.

We ate here on yesterday b/c of the location. The service was poor. The atmosphere nothing like most Mexican restaurants. Everyone looked miserable that worked there. I had the chicken quesadilla & it was beyond bland. Just chicken & cheese and they barely toasted it. My fiancé had the house specialty, it looked ok. But he barely ate it. For... More
