The food makes the restaurant. There is nothing special about old dated interior with a couple of large screen TV's It was an easy walk through parking lots for the BW Riverside inn.

We've been to Taj many times over the last few years. The service is as friendly as you could want in the South and the food has always been well done. Don't let the surrounding stores/area dissuade you. If you've never had Indian cuisine, dive in! Why go to the processed mystery "meat" chains when good food is right around... More

First time visiting Macon on the way through to Orlando. Wondered what Indian cuisine would be like here. I'm from Chicago and well know the strip on Devon Avenue sometimes referred to as Little India / Bombay. I have to say the food was very good. Service was very nice. Pricing on average with good Indian cuisine. We had butter... More

My husband and I met friends for dinner here last week and had an overall experience. My husband is an Indian foodie and did not like the Paneer, he thought it didn't taste authentic. But the nan and the other dishes were great.

When I lived in Macon we ate here at least twice a month. Now that I live elsewhere I make sure to stop in for some HOT butter chicken whenever I am in town.. twice if possible. The family who owns this place is nice and always accommodating... my hubby also loves the mango lassi!

This is one of the most amazing spots in Macon! The food is fantastic! Everyone who says 'I don't like Indian food' yet has never tried it, MUST try this place. The Chicken Korma & Sweet Naan bread is worth your first born. Its a bit run down inside but trust me, this place rocks.

Just about everything was bad - from soup to tea. Lassi was just sugar water. Naan was soaked in oil. The meat balls in Malai kofta were just potato balls and the gravy had no traces of flavor. And the chutneys looked to be few days old. The service was okay. Wish there are zero star ratings!!
