Marcos was kind of the go to birthday place in my family. But the last time we were there we felt that even though the service was outstanding, the portions were small for what you pay. We ordered lobster risotto that had a single tiny claw in it. I don't mind paying for risotto but don't up the price on... More

Had dinner here tonight after an absence of several years. I love this place, and always try to eat here when passing through Macon. It offers superb food and sophisticated service at prices to match. Many customers are snowbirds passing through Macon who enjoy fine dining usually found only in large cities. It's worth every penny!

What a fabulous evening! We weren't dressed up, but greeted by the hostess as if we were the most important people in Macon. Our server was phenomenal with a tableside service of my Filet Diane. My husband had the seared scallops and they were cooked perfectly. I enjoy a good chocolate martini, but like a good man, they are hard... More

Sadly, this once gleaming gem has lost much of it luster. We decided to give Marco one more try after a couple years since our last try but ended up with the same disappointing results. I truly do not understand how inflated prices and deflated quality equals anything other than insulting the intelligence of the diners and local community. From... More

Had a lovely dinner her with friends. While it is expensive for Macon, the food was excellent and the service was superb. The portions are European size and meant for a meal of 3 courses as in Italy. We each had salads or soup, split a couple of orders of the pasta course for our table of 6 and each... More

I do not mind paying good money for a good meal and good service. At Marco's we had neither. The entrees on the menu were limited. There were more wines on the menu than all the food. The entrees were priced higher than any restaurant in Macon. My seafood linguine had 2 shrimp, 2 scallops, and three clams. Everyone at... More

Food was excellent, but very pricey for this area. Decor was nice - had people eating wearing jeans to black tie. Very interesting place with very good food and service.

Last weekend my husband and I decided to check out Marco for the first time. We have lived in Macon for almost a year now and it was our 10th wedding anniversary. We had heard great things about the restaurant from friends and coworkers, but what we experienced far exceeded our expectations. We were greeted at the door by a... More

Let me start by saying there were aspects of Marco that were certainly deserving of high praise, but those were a bit overshadowed by the overall value and execution. I am sure many will look at the rating I get and assume this is a "bad" or "over rated" restaurant... but in all honesty the evening was very enjoyable and... More

I might try again on a different night but Valentines Day is NOT the time to visit. At least not the Warner Robins location. To begin with, we were initially seated in what must be the lounge or children's room because instead of turning on the fireplace in the corner, they had at least a 70" screen looping the intro...
