For a cool little pub in the heart of wine country the Cork and Keg is the place to be. A blend of kiwi hospitality and english charm

We called in here for a drink on a Friday night. I had a coffee and my husband had a beer. The pub reminded me of the scene in Lord of the Rings when the hobbits call in for a drink at the Prancing Pony in Bree and there is much noise and merriment. There is a nice outdoor area.... More

Described as an olde English country pub, and that's what it feels like. Great service, willing to make an extra little effort, great selection of drinks, a good pub menu, and yummy simple food. So relaxed, no pressure, a chill out zone.

We didn't have much of a choice but Cork & Keg thanks to drinking wine all day and not being able to drive anywhere farther afield. We were lucky to get any food at all since they closed the kitchen at an unreasonably early hour. It wasn't peak tourist season, but it was close enough to make that annoying. Therefore... More

Called in there for a late lunch. Order snapper meal. I very much doubt the fish was snapper. Dreadful meal, and would never go back there again, the service was below average. The old bar lady was rude.

This is a great pub to go to on a hot summers day and have a few drinks in the courtyard. The food is fresh but average and quite pricey for what it is. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Food fills the spot and as choices to dine in Renwick are limited- this is the best you will get.

We don't often go out for a beer but this place suits us perfectly. It has atmosphere and great beers as well as some good well cooked meals. Great for a tea out and meeting mates to watch the game on the big TV.

Delicious, hearty pub food minutes from Blenheim which is a good choice for larger groups. We had 16 in our party and with the live music and local crowd we felt very much at home.

Great place that is casual and a great way to get a sense of the New Zealand culture. Friendly staff and good food. And of course great wine selection!

Being Brits in New Zealand we were told we should visit the 'British pub' in Renwick. This pub is what's known in England as a 'dive'. If you want a gruff landlady, inedible food and be overcharged for it then go. After all the great service & food we had elsewhere it was a stark reminder of the worst there... More
