Olde English pub which is noisy and the locals treat you like a local. Great for dinner in winter as there are not many places open over winter.

This has got to be the best English Pub outside of UK (and better than a lot in it) and they have just started it. Brilliant atmosphere, a good selection of Beers, good Pub meals and really friendly helpful staff. If you want some of the meals adjusting to yr preference they are usually happy to help. Went for dinner with friends. Staff were friendly and efficient. Menu had a good variety and prices were reasonable. Mains about $20. I had the pork pie which was from the famous Burleigh cafe in Blenheim. It was very tasty. A few of the others had the lamb shanks and a hot pot. There was nothing left on our plates... More

We arrived for Sunday lunch. There was a band playing - which drowned out the small pub. A little too loud for the size of the establishment. The pub is pleasant and laid out nicely. Looks authentic and cozy. I ordered a guiness and black - but the barman had no idea what i meant. (Not very British!). We got... More

Hi Patsicat, Thank you for taking time to give us some feed back on your experience with us. Live music does have a tendency to be loud hence why we had the Duo playing in our garden bar, we also had a couple of other guest ask for the music to be turned down which we happily did. I am... More

Last minute decision to go out for lunch and did not fancy a winery so stopped in at Cork n Keg. Simple menu but teamed up beautifully with excellent friendly service. Obviously the staff love working here

While the initial appearance wasn't the most inviting, this was a great little establishment. The staff are extremely friendly and service was great. The food is limited but reasonably priced. This was explained as the pub had only just changed hands and a new chef was coming soon. However, the food, while not yet restaurant quality, was well cooked, and... More

I did not think the food could get worse than under the old owners but the new owners have certainly managed to serve worse food. The menu consists of Open Sandwiches, toasted sandwiches paninis & a choice of two pies. The Steak pie I ordered was either stale or been reheated the pastry was like concrete, if you manage to... After a day touring the vineyards on a bike the Cork and Keg was a fabulous choice to end the day. Food simple but well presented and fantastic value. Great choice of drinks too. Well worth a visit
