On a warm December evening we chose a table in the rear garden which is a quiet and relaxing oasis. Our group of 2 couples stuck to the mains and all were excellent, with the seafood chowder being the standout. The service was efficient and friendly and the wine list concentrates on Central Otargo wines which suited us perfectly

We did not precook a table but were warmly welcomed. The second evening we ate in the garden . Salad of the day was delicious. Give it a try!

We called in for lunch there was a group of us and we hadn't booked. Although it was quite busy we were promptly seated and served. The menu was extensive a lovely range of food and a specials board which was very good value. We sat outside the grounds were beautiful.

Atmosphere was good. I ordered a medium steak, it came out rare. The sauce was tasteless. I was disappointed.

Large menu with lots of variety. Good $15 two course lunch menu. Historic building with a garden bar as well. Cosy in winter by the fire. Lovely in summer in the garden. Great food and coffee.

This ex-Post Office has great ambiance and the meals are very good value for money. There is a lot of history here. Service and staff are also very good.

We needed a long weekend out of Queenstown, so we booked into Clyde and ea. evening we went out to a different Rest. (not too many in Clyde) but all those that we visited were great. This Rest. But was just too full to finish it off. I had the nachos and Mrs the seafood chowder. Excellent all round. Staff were busy and polite. Went for a walk after it to settle it down. Nice.

At first glance around I thought we were in for an average dinner experience but I was wrong. The staff are friendly and casual and the food was wonderful. Venison and lamb were locally sourced and prepared perfectly. Not a place to be missed.
