Convenient location right in Warkworth township near to Cafes and shops at cheap prices. Old but okay for a short stay. Notification that water cylinder heating takes up to 30 mins between people taking a shower and the shower is over a bath. Good daily servicing of unit and everything basic provided.

Older style accommodation with lots of atmosphere - stepped right back in time - would stay there again.

Great place to meet up with a group of friends or just a night out with the family. Great family menu and a good selection of beers. Skippers Scissors - Snells beach recommends all its customers to drop by

We found the food here to be good, plentiful and not overly expensive in NZ terms. The menu offers a wide range of choice. The atmosphere was lively as you'd expect in a pub setting, but in no way menacing or even unpleasant. In fact there was a quiz going on the night we were there. I makes these points... More

They have some really nice food here , love the mussels! A good range of food served in a restaurant near the river. Great to eat outside in summer and inside by the fire in winter. I adore their seafood chowder and the bar nibbles are superb as well. A lovely place to go!

The food was expensive (about $60 each) sowe were expecting good things. But it was way below average. The tables were dirty and the place had an air of the local rough necks hangout. This is typical New Zealand rural hospitality. Definitely wouldn't go again.

FOOD.......... the restaurant / pub at the Bridgewater Lodge has great food. The selection on the menu suited us and every meal we had here was delicious. The staff are friendly and provided great service. ACCOMMODATION.......if you are planning to stay here, remember it is a pub, therefore some nights will be noisy as patrons leave at whatever hour .......even... More

Stopped into the Bridgehouse on our way home from the airport on a Saturday evening. The dinning room was very busy but we only had to wait a moment to be seated. The staff were very freindly and helpful. The only thing that annoys me and alot of restaurants do it, is being left too long before your order is... More
