Good value food, easy to book and good table with a view to the beach. Was not too busy on the night. Would eat there again when in Tairua

It took about 20min to be served very average food, prawn salad was made with frozen prawns (although being by the sea), the sauce was pretty tasteless. The Moroccan lamb burger was too salty. We ate better at whitianga with better view and cheaper prices (espy).

Took over 30 minutes to prepare then informed it was because there were so many elements to the dish. It was fish tacos, tasted real good but not worth the wait. The prawn salad was so so, lots of prawns and dressing but little lettuce. Wouldn't bother to return.

Great chowder and green curry Thai mussels. The "pasta of the day" is usually delicious Friendly, casual atmosphere with free Wi-Fi is a plus.

Fast and friendly, but worth looking at some of be adverse reviews, maybe. Welcoming, shaded table under a blue sky, good place to break a journey. Enjoyed the drinks and pies!

We stopped here for lunch late one afternoon. The food was decent, nothing fancy and not overpriced for what we got. The staff were quite nice. There weren't many other people in the restaurant so we got to sit wherever we liked.

Stopped in here for a cold wine & beer, which both were good relief from the 28 degree heat after a day at the beach - however when walking past the kitchen we noticed there was a pile of raw chicken breast sitting uncovered on the bench, covered in flies.. Not a good look at all. Average service.. won't be... More

The foods ok - nothing good or bad. The wait staff haven't got much of a clue - dong know about the food, don't come bank to see you're in need of anything, etc. the night we went the place had only a few tables full and the kitchen was finding it hard to cope....
