This is an adorable cheese place with free tastings! Their cheese is very good and they also have coffees or plates to purchase. The plates are a little more expensive but well worth it.

Great cheese, friendly staff, good outdoor space for kids to play and adults to relax. Close to Timboon and Peterborough.

Kind of stumbled across this by accident and very glad we did. Staff were fabulous - cheeses are amazing - scones were divine. Loved the very well kept and beautiful gardens - an absolute delight.

This cafe is a hidden little gem within Timboon. It is a definite must do! As soon as you walk through their beautiful gardens, you know you this place is special. We were immediately greeted with a smile & we were offered cheese tastings and condiment tastings......all of which were delightful! Extremely fresh, tasty food, made with some of their... More

No, not a famous West End show but a lovely little oasis of refreshment in the middle of the Otways, the Mousetrap is a tiny café restaurant adjacent to the L’Artisan organic cheese factory (originally made famous as Timboon Farmhouse Cheese by Herman Schulz since 1985) and now run to perfection by Matthieu Megard owner of the maker of French... We've been to the Mouse Trap cafe a few times over the years. French cheesemaker, Matt(!), has sold the cafe to a new owner who has a history working in the area (so she knows her cheese). Matt's cheeses are out for tasting. And they're good. Again we had lunch in the lovely gardens. Lovely pumpkin soup with an outstanding... More

Bring your wallet and pack a lunch! Not a place to go if you're hungry. It might be ok for that mouse! Coffee ..... Worst ever. Cheese is good but I think you can purchase the same in any local store with a box of crackers for a fraction of the price. Positives - nice drive to the destination.
