...is coming alive...and Cork Wine & Tapas is one of the reasons. The staff is friendly, the service is spot on...the food is wonderful...and everything is very reasonably priced. I've been to the Cork six times...ordering different items off the menu...and I have never been disappointed. If you are a scallop fan...you're have to try their pan-seared scallops. They are... What makes tapas fun is that the small portions allow you to try lots of different dishes. The atmosphere at Cork is terrific, and the food very good -- but the edamame tapa was about 2 cups of food, the same for the marinated olives and peppers. The "Philly cheesesteak spring roll" was three large pieces and there were two... More

My wife and I stopped in at Cork, located near the water in New Bedford's historic district, on a Saturday afternoon. As the restaurant was not yet busy we were seated promptly and our order taken soon after. The waitress was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections. The food was very good. My wife had pan... More

As the area draws more restaurant choices, the selection gets better and better. Had a broth based soup with greens in it that was perfect for an unusual cool summer night. The outside sitting area is simple but quite nice. Worth checking out.

I went out with four friends for a fun eveing out. We were very excited about the look of the Bar. There was a nice area outside to sit at, and that was where we chose to be seated. Unfortunately, everytime a car came down the Cobblestone drive past the Rose Ally those facing that direction were blinded by the... More

Stopped by Cork after a visit to the Whaling Museum. Great plates! We were seated by a table of young women out for a girls' day... Scoping out their plates, each one looked fantastic and big enough to share. The fish and chips looked fantastic! We shared the truffle fries (good, could have used more truffle oil to help punch... Wow! What a neat place to eat tapas and enjoy a nice glass of wine too! The tapas are varied and reasonable, the restaurant is easy to locate right across the street from the Ferry pier and the food is excellent. Visit the Cork Tapas bar and restaurant and you too will say Ole! I can highly recommend this fun... More

We started with a clam chowder, just a great flavor here with the bacon, maybe some citrus, and a little kick of heat. One of the best ever. Just didn't like the shallow Square dish. Looks good but the soup gets cold and harder to eat. Them a beet salad with super good arugula. Also some marinated mushrooms, good but... More

2 previous visits were great, but this time we left extremely unsatisfied! The food was overly salty and staff was rude and under attentive. Our tapas were over sauced, over seasoned and nearly unedible. It was like pulling teeth to get the bartender to take our drink order and she was quite rude.... Huge downer--previous visits have been great.

Had my graduation party at Cork in May and the food was absolutely delicious! Everyone in my group was pleased with both the food and the service. A definite must when in the New Bedford area!!
