For a few bucks, you can grab yourself a delicious cup of coffee, hot chocolate, iced latte, and/or a delicious pastry. If you're on a budget and hate to sacrifice quality, come here!

After being frustrated at a cafe right down the street I walked back to Cafe Arpeggio and got in line. They were really busy with the folk festival in town but the 3 people behind the counter seemed to handle the crowds better than the previous place I had been in. I only ordered a brownie but it was delicious.... More

Really great made-to-order sandwiches. Loved it! We ordered ours with extra meat (that's actually an option, right on the menu) and they came piled high...Both were variations of a cold roast beef sandwich with horseradish ...mine had cole slaw in it. I give it great marks because it does what it sets out to do and does it well. Its... More

More than two dozen unique and delicious sandwiches and wraps available; great value. Snappy, smiling counter help gets it right and gets it to you quickly at this cozy corner spot downtown. My $7 lunch was almost too big to finish. Smoothies, salads and desserts, too. Just what hot and hungry tourists need to fuel up for a day on... More

While on a business trip, I heard about the Healthy Dining New Bedford program and decided to check out one of the restaurants. Cafe Arpeggio is located in an old brick building across from the Whaling museum. The atmosphere was really nice, the menu quite extensive, but I was especially interested in the healthy dining page which also included calorie... More

Love their salads for lunch...and their coffee drinks are good too! The menu is very nice, including plenty of tasty sandwiches, frozen treats, and desserts. I have only tried their salads - the one featuring hummos and tabouleh is a perfect workday lunch.

We were looking for a light meal in the evening. There are not a great number of choices in the center of New Bedford at 5:30 PM, but we happened to pass by the Cafe Arpeggio. The menu in the window suggested a choice of salads and sandwiches to fit the bill. We were the only ones in the place... More

Whenever we visit the old seaport district in New Bedford, we like to get sandwiches, ice cream, or both at Cafe Arpeggio. It's definitely NOT a fancy place -- more like an expanded ice cream parlor than a sit-down restuarant, with some regular tables and a few high tops -- but the food is always good and VERY reasonably priced....
