Honey dipped donut, can't say enough about how awesome this donut is. Been going here since I was 2 years old, and 35 years later, it still makes me feel like a kid!

Everyone who grew up or works in the New Bedford area seems to know about this place. The doughnuts and coffee rolls are superb! Lots of sugary goodness...not good if you're on a low-cal diet, but a nice tasty treat once in a while. Beware...unless you get in and make your purchase early in the morning, you may find some... This old fashioned coffee shop makes the most delicious donuts and muffins. I have never yet found a chocolate donut that can compare to Ma's. Not even The Holy Donut in Portland ME. Get there early, the secret's out so there is usually a crowd.

Ma's Donuts .... Reminds me of childhood when my grandfather would bring home a couple dozen donuts for us to enjoy! A true staple in the community! The absolute best donuts I have ever had & the coffee rolls are out of this world! Get there early for the best selection. If you have never tried a Ma's donut, I... More

Grew up near Ma's Donut Shop and eat them whenever my diet gives me permission. Light, airy, fresh and delicious. Worth a trip from far away!!

As one reviewer said it's nice to find something other than big chains in the donut world. Ma's is a throwback to old times. Try the old fashioned glazed. It's heavy with little specs of nutmeg to give it a zing. Powdered is simply delicious. If you're from Seattle, this is like an east coast version of Top Pot Donut... More

I have never yet found a donut that meets the lightness and sweetness of Ma' donuts. None of the mass produced products can meet my needs. I have detoured over 90 miles on the way home to pick up a dozen (glazed yeast!!!)f or the trip home (1500 miles). it the most I miss about New Bedford!

Their Baked goods are amazing. As a little girl I used to go and have a coffee milk and a chocolate frosted donut. Now I go and get coffee rolls - they are the best coffee rolls I've ever had.
