A must try while in town!

The menu has a lot of choices, seafood, pasta, burgers, and more so hard to decide! The service was attentive, the food was good, we went with a large group and everyone enjoyed their meals. Will return again!

This is a very nice and cozy place. The staff is very friendly and even the chef came out to ask us about our food. I had a cheeseburger and it was awesome. The meat they use is local and they used good cuts to make the pattys. The meat tasted like a sirloin with a flare of rib eye,... More

My friend and I went with her 2 1/2 year old. It took forever to get someone to come to the table and get drinks. B45 minutes after we ordered drinks, we finally got an order placed for my niece. That came out a half hour later and it was a simple kid's meal that I could make in 15... More

We brought a party of 8 on a very busy "Fifties Night" festival downtown... food was good and staff worked exceptionally hard to accommodate a family with an 82-year old and 2 one year old's... we gladly tipped generously!

This restaurant in downtown New Bedford, MA is always reliable, delicious food and prices aren't bad either. The place has plenty of atmosphere. A place not to miss if in/near downtown/

We've been here on several occasions either for lunch or dinner. The food is always good, there's plenty of choice and always a good atmosphere. Probably best for a lunchtime break while in the city.

Liked the salads, burgers, and beer. Had a Reuben at the bar and it was overloaded with cheese and dressing and not enough cabbage. Before I recognized it I started to ask if they had brought me a stuffed bake potato by accident - that's a LOT of cheese.

One highlight for us after enjoying the music of the New Bedford Folk Festival is having dinner at Freestone's. Friendly staff, many choices on the menu for the varied tastes of our party, and all delicious. This year we even had two pre-teens with us and they ate up all they had.

Freestone's is a favorite of ours. Most recently, we were antiquing in the historic district and stopped in for late afternoon drinks and appetizers. Delicious snacks! This is a great place for everything from a romantic dinner to a get-together with friends from work.

The burgers are very good and they have a great selection of draft beer. The building is an old historical bank and decorated very nicely, It has been around since the 1970's and is located in the historic area. Great for lunch, dinner & late night. The bar area is small but much fun and the to catch a hours... More
