My wife and I ate lunch here recently, before tackling the Whaling Museum. I had the spicy Italian veggie soup and my wife had the chicken vegetable. Both were superb -- just as if you made them at home from scratch, assuming you knew how to make great soup. Chock full of flavor and fresh vegetables the broth was delicious.... More

I've got a couple different specialty grilled cheeses here, both of which were good. The Portucheese had chourico and peppers and the el guapo had black bean and avocado(favorite of the two). The tomato soup was awesome though. Really tasty and i got it with some French bread to dip it in. Will keep coming back!

Life does not stop because of children. Destination Soups is a great place to take them. Staff here is super friendly and I love their buffalo chicken sandwich. Very relaxed place to grab a quick lunch in the historic area.

If you're looking for a lighter lunch or dinner this is the place. Great selection of salads and soups nicely prepared. Informal atmosphere and very comfortable.

Traveling through New Bedford, we were ready for lunch and stopped at Destination Soups because of the good reviews we had read. It was just what we wanted - a simple place with good quality food. Order at the counter and the food will be delivered to your table. We had the tomato basil and the kale soups. Both were... More

I love Destination Soups! I have been here a hundred times and have never once been disappointed. The staff is quirky, upbeat, and extremely nice. They are all knowledgeable about the food they serve and can help you out if you can't decide what to eat. They'll even give you tips how to reheat soup if you're bringing it home... More

Destination Soup nails it with soups, salads and sandwiches. They have healthy options if you're into that or you can go all out and have the best mac & cheese and grilled cheese around. All the ingredients are fresh and the staff is always friendly. Mike helps me decide what to order when I'm indecisive, which is awesome. Everything on... More

We stopped in by chance and ordered the tomato basil soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. Both were delicious! The staff was friendly and polite. Prices were average. The only drawback was that while it was casual, the interior was a little shabby and could use some updating.
