This place just reopened. Was previously Joe's Bar and Grill in upscale Wailea. It is a Bev Gannon restaurant. Small portions for a high price. The food was good but the small portions and poor service made it so I won't go back. Additionally we went during a special Wailea Restaurant Week promotion where all the nice restaurants put on... We always loved the original Joe's Bar & Grill. So when we saw the change to a Latin menu with a tequila bar we had to try it. The staff was excited and enthusiastic! We sat at the bar, looking into the kitchen and learned they had only been opened two weeks. We shared the mushroom tapas, very flavorful. We... More

Joe's is all new in Wailea. New decor and new menu, which is unlike any other on Maui. Modern, gourmet Latino selections that appealed to my foodie taste buds. 'Lengua' (beef tongue) on skewers, octopus, ceviches, pork shank, quail, flan. Makes for good friends and family tasting. Tried all of these, and they were delicious. Probably not for kids, but... We had many good dinners at Joe's. The dish was fresh, meatloaf was good and the people were nice. Sadly, it is closed this year . Hopefully, it will reopen with a new concept and Good food!

We were there in Feb. and it is now Mar. Didn't think the menu selection was the greatest. But don't remember much, not a very memorable dining. We walked from our hotel and had a little trouble finding it, just remembered it started pouring halfway on our walk back. As I remember the waiter was a little flakey not real... More

We took the kids to Joe's during our trip over New Year's. We've tried Joe's a few times and always leave feeling disappointed. The service was friendly and efficient, we find the food it 'just ok'... we ordered short rib, kids meatloaf, soup, and something else forgettable. I see they are reopening as a new restaurant with latin influence -... More

We have been visiting Joe's at least once a year for many years, and nearly every time I have the meatloaf because it is, simply, the best meatloaf anywhere. It is made from ground SIRLOIN, not just ground round. The barbecue sauce on it is fabulous (probably a secret recipe). Their wine list is wonderful, and reasonably priced. The last... More

Joe's is a little hidden, but once you find it, it is well worth it. The food is excellent, the service is terrific and the setting is peaceful. We tried all three of the Gannon restaurants and none of them disappointed us, including this spot.
