Description: Located above the Wailea Tennis Center, Joes has panoramic ocean views on one side and vistas of Haleakala on the other. Internationally acclaimed Chef Bev Gannon masterminds the menu, while husband Joe Gannon is credited with the theatrical lighting and inspiration of this popular dining spot. Wonderful comfort food, with a gourmet streak such as slow roasted prime rib, with mashed potatoes, our BBQ ribs, and Joes favorite meatloaf. Fresh local fish is also offered nightly including appetizers such as the ahi carpaccio and calamari. Don't forget about the "World famous crab dip"! The Seafood Pot Pie with fresh fish, shrimp and scallops is another favorite. Children are welcome, offering a fun kids menu and special drinks like the green gecko. One of Wailea's best Mai Tai's, crazy martinis, and and exceptional wine list from well known producers as well as smaller boutique wineries.

Stopped in around 9pm on Sunday, January 11th. It was still fairly busy but got a nice table right away. Waiter "Vince" was very courteous and attentive to our needs. Rather than a meal we shared three appetizers which was more than enough. All three were very good - tuna carpaccio, crab dip, and prime rib quesadilla. After receiving our... More

Our combined family went to Joe's for dinner on our vacation in Wailea and the food was just awful. My husband had a shrimp cocktail that was small and flabby and sickly. The prime rib was so so, and the fish didn't seem fresh. The only good thing about this place is the service which is very friendly.

We at at Joes Dec 31. This was an ideal way to share New Year's Eve with our family. We were seated right by the service entrance to the kitchen, but we had a divider separating us from the entrance. If we had been seated elsewhere in the restaurant, I would definitely rated our dinner much higher. For appetizers, we... More

Had a wonderful Christmas dinner at Joe's, WITH Joe. Turns out he and one of our dinner guests have a mutual acquaintance, so he spent some time visiting with us. The food was very, very good. It's in Wailea, so I can't say things were reasonably priced, but they weren't the most expensive I've seen on this part of the... More

I love joes so so much. The people who work there treat you like family. I have always liked joes food. The last time i went there though i tried the tortilla soup. I did not like it at all. It tasted like tomato soup. It was a little strange because every single time i have been to joes their... More

You can see why the locals make it their hangout. It has a country club feel and the Gannon food. We've gone our last 2 trips to Maui and we're pleased both times. The quirky golf cart ride down from the parking lot doesn't really detract from the experience, but it is annoying. We were advised by friends to get... More

I must admit that I was initially quite disappointed that the prime rib was sold out by 6:30 on a Saturday night. Rather poor planning on their part. There was a kid literally screaming at the top of their lungs who eventually got hauled outside. Mains were meat loaf and short ribs. Both were quite excellent. Service was good. Decent... More

I've always gone to Joe's for their Prime Rib as I think it is one of the best I've ever had. Went there this year with friends on my birthday and just found it to be so so. It was not crisply crusted on the outside and was smothered in au jue sauce. There are so many better restaurants on... More

This was our first big dinner out after a long day of travel. It was a little weird with parking but the guy running the golf cart was very friendly. The look and feel of the restaurant was nice and cozy. Our waiter was very nice. The food was nothing special. The meatloaf was not that great and was slathered... More

Joe's is in an odd location and somewhat hard to find, but it's at a tennis club. Doesn't affect it's menu, however. The menu is varied...my husband had jambalaya tonight (good, flavorful, but not nearly as spicy as say a New Orleans version), Prime Rib, Goat Cheese stuffed chicken and I had the fresh catch, pumpkin seed encrusted Opa which...
