Description: Wolfgang Puck's Spago offers panoramic ocean views from the bar and restaurant serving California cuisine with Pacific Rim influences and local Hawaiian flavors. The Mobil Four Star restaurant opened at the Four Seasons Resort Maui in 2001, teaming America’s greatest chef with the world’s finest hotel group. The Asian-inspired, contemporary designed room is sophisticated, yet relaxed, with carefully selected furnishings that provide both family comfort and romantic evenings both indoors or on the exterior lanai. All of this creates the perfect stage for Chef Cameron Lewark’s brilliant menu, using Hawaii’s premier produce, fish and meats, with the styling that made Spago famous. Utilizing only the finest ingredients available from the Hawaiian Islands, the menu presents a fusion of Hawaiian and California cuisine, embracing the tradition of the Islands culinary techniques. This inspired menu offers Wolfgang Puck's classics as well as many locally inspired dishes.

Maybe it was the tropical air, or the amazing view of the sunset, or the menu infused with local flavors. Whatever it was, we thought our meal at this location was better than at the Beverly Hills location. The GM of the restaurant even left a note at our room thanking us for visiting! It has convinced us to give... More

Food, service and views are outstandingl Prices are high end but worth the special treat. To our surprise "sharing" a dinner is allowed and exceptable. Server presented shared courses already split and garnished.

The service is amazing, the food is perfection and the view is to die for. Nicole is an amazing waitress, she was there every time I needed something, her recommendations were perfect. We had a steak for two carved at table side with cheesy mash potatoes. The flavors were amazing and the potatoes had melted fresh mozzarella and garlic into... More

Spago is one of my special places on Maui. It is expensive ($100+/person), but it has a comfortable relaxed atmosphere, a remarkable view, attentive and professional wait staff, and delicious and well presented food. I had the seared ahi, which was not-cooked to perfection -- just a thin sear. My friend had the Wagyu beef on angel hair pasta. Though... More

don't you hate it when the plate next to yours is better. you still have to finish knowing you made the wrong choice. straight up go for the ridiculously priced 100% wagyu on the bottom of the menu if its featured. the lava rock fired steak didn't come close and that one wasn't mine either. I did the seared ahi.... More

I was shocked to read some of the negative reviews of this restaurant as of late on this site. Spago does not disappoint in my opinion. We requested the tasting menu with wine pairings (11 courses and not advertised on the menu) and every plate was artfully prepared not to mention delicious. Yes, it is somewhat expensive but it is... I eat in "allegedly" comparable level restaurants all the time and I can tell you this Spago has gone way down hill. While the setting is nice, the physical maintenance high and the service good, the food is sub par for a restaurant of this quality. I had the pork chop that arrived dry and cool. My daughter had the... More

We heard our concierge at the Fairmont make our reservation, when we arrived, no reservation. They kindly found a table for us as it was only 6:30pm, early, but able to see the sunset. Not many choices on the limited menu. My husband didn't even order an appetizer or salad as he couldn't find anything he liked. I had a... More

I was treated last year to this restaurant and have returned once again to enjoy the culinary delights. I am somewhat a creature of habit when it comes to amazing food and would have had the exact sampling of food that I had last year but they didn't have the same entre. I enjoyed the ahi sesame cones appetizer very... More
