Beautiful views, good food, great staff!

We spent Thanksgiving at Spago which was wonderful! The Thanksgiving meal was fantastic and the wine was fabulous! The staff is spectacular and the view is world-class! The restaurant could have staffed up a little bit more for the holiday. The waitstaff were so busy it was a little bit hard to... read more

I'd wanted to dine at Spago for our last few Maui trips, but simply never got around to it. So glad we finally made it happen this time! We were joined by our two adult kids, and what started out as a "routine" dinner out quickly morphed into a special evening. Our outside table was ready when we arrived. I... More

The restaurant could have staffed up a little bit more for the holiday. The waitstaff were so busy it was a little bit hard to get the very best service but, we still... More

Spago consistently delivers premium food and service. I visited twice this trip. Once I ordered the house-cured meats followed by the chicken entree. Amazing flavors and textures. My husband always eats the Tuna poke cones, and this time he also tried the seafood curry. He said it was incredible. Service here was phenomenal. We received an excellent wine recommendation. I... We were greeted by friendly hostesses and given a prime table. Took 10 minutes before a waiter acknowledged us. The only sommelier was another waiter. While quite knowledgeable, picked a bottle that I could have picked for myself. A high end restaurant should have a beverage director/sommelier available. For dinner, had the tuna poke tacos, which were over gingered. The... More

We dined at Spago last night and my husband and I had an enchanted evening. Was it the sunset, the ocean view, the incredibly attentive and "good vibe" staff, the interesting and mouthwatering dishes....I'm not sure which was the best part. Our waiter came over and pointed out two spouting and breaching hunchback whales and we watched them while sipping... More

We've been to Spago's in many different locations and can honestly say that we are rarely, if ever, disappointed. In this case the setting was particular lovely (hey, it's in the Four Seasons Wailea/Maui) and the food was more creative than usual. They made excellent use of local ingredients, especially the fish... we had a Mahi tempura dish that was... More

We saved Spago for our last night at the Four Seasons and had a great time. The menu is very interesting, the service just right, and I especially enjoyed the services of a high quality, informative and engaging sommelier who steered us toward a dry riesling that was a perfect choice. Now, be forewarned it's VERY expensive but the view... More

After having the special of the day, Red Snapper Wok fried Tahitian Style and served directly at your table our only debate was whether this was the best seafood dinner of our lives or the second best (and we travel globally and love seafood). This is a must visit restaurant for seafood lovers, not cheap but an experience well worth... More

Opted for Spago for a dinner with our great travel friends!! Outside, stunning views was the starter. Then fresh apples and a great white burgundy wine. Mains were incredibly delicious, paired with a fabulous Italian Barolo, and cheese tasting after. Finally desserts and coffee were all so amazing. Service was tremendous, so courteous and professional, top notch for certain!! A... More

My husband and I were staying at Four Seasons and ate at Spago our last night in Maui. We saved the best for last. After dining at some of the other rave review places in Wailea, you can't go wrong at Spago. Although our service was initially a little slow, took over 5 minutes for someone to stop at our... More
