If it wasn't for the view, Spago would be completely forgettable. The service was incredibly unprofessional and the food was average...two comments that should never be made about a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. This place needs some serious fine tuning.

My husband, teenagers, and I had dinner here in April. We have been lucky enough to dine at the Spago in Beaver Creek and the Source in DC. All have been great. The food at Spago Maui was exceptional. We had most of the seafood entrees which did not disappoint. It was a lovely, lovely dinner.

Had a Valentines Day dinner on our last day in Maui, and it was outstanding! Overlooking the ocean, this restaurant delivers great food and service. I had the fish curry with coconut and pineapple and I loved it so much I tried to recreate it at home. The ahi appetizer was to die for! Always will be a special place.

Arrived in Maui after flying for 12 hours and just wanted to have dinner in our hotel. We chose Spago and were sorry that we did. The food was average at best but the prices were very expensive. Would not go back there again.

Spago in Wailea, Maui, is a gorgeous restaurant with a fabulous view of the sea. We were there quite early so the restaurant wasn't too busy thus the service was excellent as was the food. What really made me happy was their willingness to cook according to my fussiness. I really don't like chicken on the bone so they offered... More

Dinner up at the bar at Spago was a lot of fun! The service was very knowledgeable and friendly and the food and presentation was very cool. A wonderful evening!!

We visited many great restaurants during our vacation and rated Spago among our favourites. Given the mix of reviews, we weren't sure what to expect or anxious to go, but our schedule unfolded such that we found ourselves there with little notice for a reservation. Our service was excellent --- attentive without being overbearing. I selected the seafood curry and... More

The service and food were great, exactly what I'd expect from a restaurant of this level. Food was good - great, nothing amazing. Service was good, we were part of a large group that was well taken care of with good standard service provided. We had the big table on the edge but were either after sunset or it was... More

This will definitely be the first and last time that I eat here or at any other Wolfgang Puck restaurant. The food was mediocre to say the least; the service condescending and the atmosphere, particularly in the choice of music, which we were informed is dictated by the whims of Wolfgang Puck himself, was more irritating than relaxing. I had... More

From start to finish a top notch experience. I have never heard a menu run through so clearly and efficiently. It helped us make what turned out to be really good choices. Brilliant cocktails. Excellent wine by the glass - Gruner Veltliner and Bierzo, IIRC. Best Thai red curry ever without having visited Thailand -it was based on Mahi Mahi... More
