Terrific food with a view

The sheer creativity of the dishes is something to experience. If you're looking for a standard, high end dining experience with no surprises this is not the place for you. Be ready to try dishes with ingredients you wouldn't have expected to be together and tastes that are out of this world.

We went to Spago for our business unit dinner. I came to Maui on a quasi-business trip and this was one of the dinners. I'm so glad that we locked up and Spago was our restaurant as it was awesome. Everything I ate was amazing and exactly what I would've ordered being at home or anywhere. I had steak crab... More

We were on a trip with 6 other family members.. so we decided to get away for a date night. So happy we came across this place on a walk from our hotel which was next door. We did not have a reservation so we sat at the bar. WONDERFUL SERVICE. I am pregnant so could not enjoy cocktails but... More

So for the price I would have expected to be wowed a little more. Not saying it was a bad meal by any stretch, but I wasn't blown away. My wife had a seafood curry dish that was great, my big eye tuna was ok. We had a few apps, none of them stood out. I will say the service... More

Wonderful experience especially since it was a business dinner and we didn't have to pay for it! Crazy expensive but the ambiance, decor, view and service were top notch. We only had one side dish we didn't care for and that was a mashed sweet potato dish. Otherwise the fish and beef dishes were amazing and the shared desert disappeared... More

I ate here a few times during a four-night stay at Four Seasons. The food here is excellent but extremely expensive. $30 for an appetizer? The prices here are similar to that of high-end Manhattan restaurants. For dinner at Spago you need a reservation in advance. Main courses are $60+. The views of the ocean are very nice.

Spago is the default breakfast restaurant at Four Seasons Maui hotel/resort. Breakfast here is delicious with a huge choice of fresh fruits and juices. For dinner in Spago you need a reservation in advance. From my experience dinner here is more expensive than downstairs (Duo restaurant). Main course is up to 60+ USD. Sashimi is delicious.

I've eaten here twice and both times were excellent. Just recently my girlfriend and I were at the hotel during Valentines Day so we thought we'd have a nice dinner. They were totally booked but we showed up fairly early and easily secured seats at the bar. The bartenders are excellent by any standard and they did a great job... More

The food at Spago is good. The wines and the view are second to none. We ate at a few of the top rated places in Maui. All of them had limited or young wine lists. Spago is the first that was nice and rounded in both ways. It is similar in price to DUO if you get wine (in... More
