Best breakfast buffet

For a breakfast buffet in Hawaii, this one is great. Yes, its pricey, but everything in Wailea is. It's got a lot, and the food is good. The omelette station chef deserves a big raise, as he's simply amazing. Best spot in Wailea to get a breakfast buffet.

Opted for this place for breakfast. Was buffet style with good selection of food. Overall good breakfast, but way too expensive! $75 for 2 people.

My husband and I ate breakfast here every morning during our stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani. The buffet was wonderful, fresh, tons of variety, and usually well stocked. The highlight is definitely the omelet chef who can make an incredible amount of custom omelets at once!

Definitely a cut above your average general service restaurant, with a very nice selection for breakfast. If you're going to have a breakfast plan, then this one is probably worth having (at $31 per person, it's not inexpensive, but it is consistent with resort breakfast pricing and the quality is better than average. The servers are rather slow---they seem a... More

The buffet at the Kea Lani Restaurant has one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever been to at 5 star hotels. While a bit pricey at $36 per adult, the amount that you eat, and quality and variety of food, make it worth it. Omelet station is amazing and chef (Erwin - sorry for possibly spelling wrong) is... My family stayed down the street at the Grand Wailea, but we loved the breakfast here at the Kea Lani so much that we ate here more often than at the Grand Wailea. The omelette station was great! Lots of options and the chef put plenty of what you asked for in each omelette! The service was good and the... More

Went for dinner whilst on a family holiday. Waiter (first week in the job) was exceptionally warm and attentive. Sommelier was smug & rather aloof. Food good, ambience ok - poolside style. Was pretty expensive for what the dining experience was - fairly typical for a high end hotel with largely captive market. Food: 3/5 Service: 3.5/5 Ambience: 2.5/5 Overall;... More

The Kea Lani Restaurant has one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever been to. The service is excellent and the food is delicious! My favorite part of the buffet was the omelette station. At first, I was skeptical that they had one chef making 6-8 omelettes at once, however, he proved me wrong. He was an absolute pro. They... More

Ate too much. Had a great variety, like most buffets, difference here is quality. Fresh fruit, pastries, custom omelets, bagels, traditional bacon and eggs, pancakes, waffles and stuff i didn't recognize.

The options were more than adequate and the service was very good, as well. We were here without our kids, but would have taken them (10 and 13) if they were with us, some kids may not be suited for Kea Lani (if they have a narrow list of food they like, don't like more formal settings, or tend to...
