Great file

We were at the resort for nine days and I had dinner here one night at the bar area because we were not able to get reservations. I had the fillet with broccoline and it was cooked pretty close to perfect :) My husband had a fish special and he really enjoyed it too, dish came with the forbidden... read more

Three years ago we dined here and fell in love with the restaurant: setting, food, and service. It was a unique fine dining experience, worth the high price tag of ~$200 for 2 adults and one child. When we returned to Maui this summer, we were so eager to repeat this. Sadly, we were disappointed instead. While we continued to... More

Excellent meal as always. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary with our two year old and it couldn't have been better. The meal itself was excellent but the service itself was incredible. My wife and I agreed that the meal itself was not only the best meal of a trip full of great meals, but one of the... More

Went here for our first dinner during our stay at the Grand Wailea. Beautiful atmosphere and a great introduction into the Maui cuisine. My husband had the mahi mahi and I had the scallops. The food was tasty, but there was too much going on in general with the flavor - the sauces and sides overpowered the deliciousness of simple... More

Make sure you come here if you stay nearby on the island. We sat in the bar area for the best view of the sunset. I have never seen anything like it...unforgettable.

The setting is nice (although depending on where you sit, the restaurant can be almost too dark) and the food was good. We were staying at the Fairmont in Wailea, so we were able to walk home on the beach path, which was good. We decided to leave our boys at home for this restaurant because their flavor combinations were... More

Had dinner here our last night on this end of Maui. The walk to the resturant was charming. Outdoor dining was very nice. Not too hot. The food was billed to be great but I thought it was good, not awesome.

To be honest, we were unimpressed with this restaurant that we had heard so much about (from hotel staff). Small portions, large price. Descent taste, but we arrived hungry and left still hungry and spent over $100. We are not big eaters, but the dinner portion consisted of a gigantic plate, one scoop of mashed potatoes, with a medium piece... More

Loved the fact it was on it's own lagoon...but we were there at a time when there was no breeze so had a small problem with "no seeum's"...not a major problem and probably doesn't happen often. The food was good...unfortunately I can't give it a higher rating than that so for me it didn't live up to my expectations of... More

Humuhumunukunukuapua'a is the quintessential Polynesian dinning experience! Delicious, fresh seafood and excellent foo-foo drinks are paired with a dramatic hawaiian sunset from tiki huts perched over a beautifully landscaped lagoon. Be sure to check the sunset times for your trip and book a dinner here for at least 1/2 hour before sunset. You'll feel the total Hawaiian experience!
