If you love anything coconut, then you are in heaven. I had the Jasmin rice made with cocunut milk and I can't stop thinking about it. The view is gorgeous and the food is amazing. There is a somewhat non pleasant smell, however, because the restaurant is sitting on dormant water.

For the cost of the food at this restaurant, the service was really bad. To be fair to Humuhumu, we observed other, better servers - so maybe it was just our area. They appeared significantly understaffed and we had to wait for our reserved table despite the fact that there were large numbers of empty tables around the restaurant all... More

Food was wonderful. Service was wonderful. The filet was fantastic. Also the poo poo platter was delicious and you can get a drink in an actual coconut. The setting is gorgeous...out over a lagoon. Worth the price.

My husband was a little skeptical as it is a thatched hut that reminds you of Polynesian Village at Disney World. Once we sat down and started experiencing the great service all our doubts were gone. Friendly efficient wait staff who were very knowledgeable about the preparation of the items we ordered. They made suggestions when asked and someone was... More

Surf and turf was perfect. Scallops were perfect. Complimentary table bread are these super tasty purple potato buns. Mom said Macadamia Crusted Mahi was the best of whole trip. Can't beat the ambiance - you are on an covered, open-air dock with an ocean view. Would dine again.

The food was great - pricey like all resorts, but very tasty. The service was fast and friendly also.

The idea for this restaurant is set over water with fish and lobsters swimining under your thatched hut covered tables, The food is varied with the usual local fish meat and lobster. The drinks were quite large and the staff was really attentive. Good for both adults and children. We have been to this hotel on and off since it... More

Dining here is outdoors under polynesian style thatched roof huts surrounded by fish ponds. Sun setting over ocean in full view. That in itself is wonderful - just go sit at the bar and enjoy. But the food is rather good, too even if typical Wailea resort expensive. Reservations are recommended. Restaurant is a little busy on nights when hotel... More

My husband and I came to this Grand Wailea restaurant to celebrate our anniversary - what a great decision! This place...don't try pronouncing the name...is all about ambiance. The lagoon, the tiki-like roof, the fountains...all perfect for a romantic night out. But, you will pay for it. Dinner was expensive, but so delicious. We saved this restaurant for our last... More

The ambience is great and that's what I wanted. $20 drinks that were not that good. Great surf and turf. If you ask for fish food, the kids can feed the fish. They also gave my son a stuffed humuhumunukunukuapaua'a fish and he loved it.
