Friendly, helpful restaurant manager!

Setting is like a jungle tree fort. Great food. Lamb and fish are great. They also have a great presentation for lobster. This would also be a great place to sit at the bar and order appetizers and cocktails. It was a good experience over all but I just wasn't wowed enough for 5 star rating... read more

My wife and I had dinner here and the atmosphere and setting were fabulous. However, the wait staff was not the friendliest and the food was just so-so, certainly not worth the high prices. I recommend saving your $$ and try Mama's Fish House. The prices are comparable but the service and the food at Mama's are many times better.

I have to say I was a little disappointed with dinner. The portions were small and they sat us about as far back from the ocean as possible. We asked for better table but no luck. The service was good but for me it was just ok. I ordered the Ono and chowder corn soup.

We ate at many restaurants in Maui, this was the best. Food was cooked to perfection and wine list was excellent. View is superb and wait staff very professional and knowledgeable. Could use a little make over as it is a bit stuck in the 90's but it was well worth the money.

As part of Grand Wailea, mostly a training issue. Enjoyed the setting but waitstaff runs you through like a diner. Bread is really like the pasty-Costco variety is was hugely disappointing. Coffee Was great. I used the bathroom and he mirrors were really dirty and dusty and the vents hadn't been cleaned in a long time....such a bummer because this... More

This restaurant deserves just to be seen even if you do not eat there! The beach setting, the inside waterfall, the beautiful aquatic sculptures, and the true Tahitian grand scale beach hut feel, make this a 5 star gem. The experience continues with stellar service and exceptional food. From appetizer to dessert, our meal was delicious, beautifully plated, and very... More

We were guest of the Grand Wailea and a last minute decision to dine at Humu.... Was one of our best decisions of the trip and one of our better meals. Upon the recommendation of our server we chose the tuna carpaccio. This was a small, but nice combination of flavors but may have been slightly overpowered by the crushed... More

After dining at some very nice places in Wailea (Capiche, Spago, Nick's Fish Market, Monkeypod) this was the worst restaurant of them all . . . by far. Waited 20 minutes to be seated, although we had a reservation. The food was only average, the service was subpar (waited a fair amount of time for drinks and to take order)... More
