We ordered Cakebread Chardonnay and were given an impostor. We are big fans of Cakebread and know the wine very well. Our server ( I think her name was Karen) presented us with a wine that we knew immediately was not Cakebraed. She argued with me saying that she saw the bartender pour Cakebread. I asked her if she could... More

Located at the Grand Wailea hotel this is their main restaurant facility. very informal, with somewhat distressed wooden tables the restaurant offers typical Hawaiian menu options. We has the chicken dumpling and salad starters which were "OK" but could have used some livening of the tastes. The main courses of Mahi Mahi and short ribs suffered from the same lack... More

Came here to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Service was absolutely amazing and the food was the best on the island. Add the romantic setting by the fish pond and it is the perfect restaurant to celebrate or have a wonderful dinner.

You would think that a restaurant inside the WA would have a certain image to uphold. Well according to their email to myself and the price we paid for the hotel room itself, I was expecting a lot more. We contacted the restaurant a day before our arrival and asked about their Gluten free options. We were told this would... More

Food was not edible, hostess indifferent, server messed up the order. View was nice. Pretty disappointing even by Maui standards where there are not many good places to eat.

We have dinner here every year and it has never disappointed! The view from the bar palapa, the amazing, five star food and the staff are all wonderful. We like to go about 5:30PM to watch the sunset and the torches being lit. Make sure to save room for dessert because it's worth it!

What a disappointing meal. We ate out 2-3 times daily and over the course of 12 days in Hawaii this was by far the worst meal we had. We had a party of 8 and we all left there with the same opinion which was all that money for that? What a waste.

Really good food but expensive for some items, also a great atmosphere and good service. Also is that theres a fish pond under the restaurants and its cool to watch them.

We were staying at the Grand Wailea and found this to be a great place for later afternoon cocktails. The bar tender even taught us how to pronouce the name of the place.

I typically like to skip the hotel restaurants. We were on east coast time, and tired early, so we gave Humuhumu a try. They have an appetizer special for $24 a person that is perfect. Scallops, ribs, shrimp, and more. A perfect light meal! Our daughter also loved the stuffed animal of the state fish (a humuhumunukunukuapua). Nice touch! The... More
