I'd have to agree with other reviewers that you should really only consider Humu's for the ambiance --- which might be enough to draw you there and order carefully. It is a delightful location, combining beach and ocean views with a thatched hut floating on a tropical lagoon. We had a lovely table overlooking the beach and a lagoon waterfall.... More

We enjoyed our meal at Humu, more due to the setting than the meal itself. We had a nice sunset view and liked watching the fish in the pond surrounding the restaurant. We had asked for table 70, a table located off by itself, but there was a large group seated there. I actually think the table we wound up... More

Recently had dinner at this restaurant and it was a beautiful location, the hotel and the restaurant itself. Food was delicious (a bit on the expensive side) but so glad we had this opportunity.

Three of us had an early dinner at Humuhumunukunukuapua’a the last night of our stay on Maui. What an experience! The restaurant is a delight for the eyes. It is modeled after a Polynesian thatch roof building and is surrounded by a million-gallon saltwater lagoon filled with tropical fish. As you enter the restaurant there are numerous interesting wood carved... More

Excellent service and food ----- the steaks and the lobster were very, very good. A unique venue with lots of charm and an outstanding sunset view.

Restaurant is quiet and nicely located on top of the hotel lake. Food is not great for the price and the piña colada was not home made... Too expensive for the quality... Lets say clients pay for the place not for the food

Ate here twice while on Maui last week. Amazing food, wonderfully attentive service, and the atmosphere is perfect. Even good for kids...they have a large indoor fish tank, plus the restaurant sits on water full of carp that look like little sharks....kids love it! Price is average for this area...super expensive! Plan on $60 - $100 per person. Everything is... More

We knew the ambience was beautiful - ponds seeming to flow into the ocean, tiki torches, water all around. What completely blew us away was the service. We were two families - my sister's and mine, 8 in all. We were together in Hawaii after 16 years. The first time we were there we had a family photo taken of... More

I made this reservation 1 month before we went to Maui. This was to be our last dinner before we left for home and based on the recommendations on other websites I wanted this to be the most romantic. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. The woman checking us in tried to seat us in the bar and we... More

Our family of 10 went here last week while we were staying next door at the Four Seasons. The view is great-looking out at the beach with the setting sun. That is if you get one of a few tables facing that direction. Our waiter started off great but something must have happened between the appetizers and the dessert because... More
