Pretty view during sunset. Food was average at best. Service was great. Really only liked our dessert.

It's nice and the wait staff is very nice, but it's WAY overpriced. Drinks are $16.00, appetizers around $23. It's not all that great for the price.

Terrific and creative Hawaiian cuisine, great service and one of the more romantic settings on Maui. After Mama's Fish house our second favorite restaurant on the island.

I was able to make a reservation on Open Table an hour before, but I think it might be because it was off season in October, as the Grand Wailea hotel & resort we were staying at and where Humuhumu were situated was not all that full. The restaurant is located on the left side of the resort, with it... More

We could not take our eyes off the breathtaking sunset from our table. Then we picked our own lobsters! Our server took care of the rest and his recommendations were spot on. We added the filet to our meal and it was the best steak I have ever had. Everything was perfection from the tropical drinks to service to atmosphere... More

Went there at night so the view wasn't that amazing, but it helps a lot that it is in the middle of a lagoon type...the food was ok, a little bit pricey.

I agonized over a three-star rating for this restaurant. I really wanted it to be better. And in all fairness, my entree was quite good (usually would merit at least four stars). But here's the thing. When you move into the $40 to $60 price range for an entree, $20 or so for an appetizer, and $18++ for a cocktail,... More

My wife and I had dinner here for our 10th anniversary. We were staying at the Grand Wailea and had planned on eating here based on the location and made reservations several months in advance. While that isn't necessary it certainly helped as it secured us the best table in the house. We were seated at a table over the... More

My husband and I had a date night at Humu's while on vacation in Maui. We had originally planned Mama's Fish House but heard it was quite expensive and Humu's came highly recommended by the resort manager where we were staying. The atmosphere was incredible and setting very romantic. Initially we discussed sharing an appetizer but decided to each get... More

We went here for seafood one night. Both of us had the macadamian encrusted mahi mahi. It was so good that we had to come back a couple nights later and have the same thing. The food was fantastic. Apart from the food, the atmosphere is great. The restaurant is over water with interesting fish regularly swimming around. On the... More
