What a Pleasant Surprise!

Each time we visit "Monkeypod", we look across the parking lot at this small-ish ground floor restaurant. While there's always a line to get into "Monkeypod", it seemed as if this other mystery restaurant was busy, but not packed. We met a couple on the beach who told us of "Pita Paradise"... how... read more

I wasn't overly hungry so had the gnocchi, which was very good. It came with about 8 potato gnocchi with a Bolognese sauce. Perhaps it was just our server, but she was very "snubby." She was not happy when all 4 of us ordered water instead of drinks, and from there was very blah. Hopefully not all the servers are... More

We ate here about two weeks ago on our first night in Maui. The menu looked great but the food was pretty average. I just had a salad with chicken and it was uneventful. My husband had the fresh caught fish of the day on his salad and said the fish was mushy and lacked flavor. It took awhile to... More

This is not your usual pita joint. The owner is a Greek/Scilian fisherman who runs a great restaurant. The lamb and mousakka were great, as were the desserts.

I certainly had no interest in going to this restaurant because of the name. We walked by and the staff were very friendly. We look at the menu and the description if he fresh fish if the day was too good to pass up. Delicious! I would go back and would recommend over monkey pod or restaurants St the Andaz.

For lunch we had fresh Ahi pitas. They were delicious and reasonably priced given the amount of food served.

Great restaurant with an awesome Mediterranean flare. My 11 year old son ranked this as his #1 dining experience on Maui. I have to agree it was excellent , prices are at Maui levels so don't complain or go to Mexico for an all inclusive! ;)

We wandered into this place not knowing what to expect and were delighted. Turns out this is one of the local favourites. We had Ahi Tuna on a chopped salad. Price was $18 but I think I had $30 worth of tuna on my salad. Not fancy but a very nice place for lunch, did not have a chance to... More

Surprising find this restaurant had delicious fish in Greek recipes. Greek lasagna and Greek burger were also I hits. Desert was small but tasty baklava. More reasonable than resort restaurant prices for sure. Pleasant staff.
