We went with friends for Happy Hour, which is 3-7 pm and you get half-price sushi and pupus in the lounge. The view is great -- right on the ocean -- and the food was great. There were a ton of people there -- not usual for a Tuesday night from what I am led to believe and we had... More

We went there twice for happy hour, buy one drink and pick great tasting dishes from the special menu. Best calamari, shrimp and ribs.

Gorgeous views of the ocean from just about every seat in the house! GM.Moki was extremely kind and recognized we were celebrating our honeymoon with great service. Wonderful, casual setting for a quick bite and enjoy all that is Maui.

On this trip to Maui, we made our third and fourth visits to 5 Palms. I had been warned by the owner of the condo where we stay that things were different at 5 Palms due to a new chef. I could see the changes on the menu, in that there didn't seem to be as much of an emphasis... More

I like that the restaurant and lounge are on a fabulous beach with a grassy area and outdoor showers to the property in Mani Kai resort. Happy hour lasts a few hours, so if you don't like leaving the beach at 3:30 pm, you can stretch it and still enjoy 1/2 wine, beer, and appies.

Casually elegant menu, wonderful selection, congenial atmosphere and gorgeous setting right on the beach. Perfect for viewing the sunset. We shared salad and dessert simply because the size of each course was so ample (at the honest recommendation of our delightful server, who also provided great local tips in response to our questions.) If you are in Kihei, don't miss... More

We stayed an the Maui Mana Kai, so the 5 Palms Restaurant was very convenient. We ended up eating lunch and dinner there on various days, but our favorite was having a late "lunch" at the bar for their Happy Hour (which was actually about 8 hours long). The drinks were delicious and the food was excellent. We especially loved... More

Lively atmosphere, yummy pupus and appies - what's not to like about this spot for a well-priced dinner substitute? Buy one drink (doesn't have to be alcoholic) and appies and pupus are half priced. And when we were there, at least, that special was from 5 pm until 9 pm. Let's face it - Wailea is expensive, and it's great... More

This was our first time at 5 Palms and we were pleasantly surprised. We thought we'd try somewhere new and we liked the area because we could walk back to our resort in Wailea along the beach. We started with Ahi Poke Martini for me and Kula farm salad for my partner and we were both happy with the size... More

We had a 50th birthday party at the 5 Palms with 24 people. You probably know how challenging that can be. Drea was our server and her and her team were awesome even when we started at 16 people and ended up with 24. We had appetizers and drinks and had an awesome time. I want to thank Drea and... More
