view is fantastic

Ask for an outside table as the view is fantastic. All of our meals were excellent except the prime rib and mashed potatoes. It was sprinkled with say too much coarse salt which made the meal overly salty and "crunchy"!!! If I ordered it again I would request the salt on the side as crunchy... read more

Service and food were great. Great presentation, decent prices, and tables with clear view of the ocean and sunset. 20% discount when you stay at the Days' Inn (all meals)

The restaurant is on the beach and you can watch the sunset. Views are spectacular. The food was excellent and our server was also very good. This is an expensive restaurant but the whole experience was worth it. This was our last night on Maui and we wanted it to be special and it was.

I've enjoyed happy hour here a few times, but I've never done dinner until tonight, when 16 of us came from a seminar. The maitre d' was unwelcoming, the waitress- complaining, service was poor, and though my entre was $49, the rice in the risotto was undercooked and hard. The fish was lovely, but overall the meal and the service... More

Lobster blt, sushi, lobster dip all very good. Expensive for families, you couldn't eat here every day with a family. Beach is beautiful.

The food here is OK, but what you are going for are the gorgeous views. Therefore rather than over spend for dinner make it a breakfast or lunch option and soak it in. We did brunch and everyone was very happy. Macadamia Nut Pancakes were tasty.

The location is obviously excellent but the food is average. I will say the happy hour is worthwhile and the server was very accommodating in getting me a special drink I really wanted. Also the staff was very patient and helpful with our group of 6 people.

My husband and I went for cocktail hour at 5 Palms this evening and were pretty disappointed with experience, particularly since we had such fond memories of this restaurant during our 2010 visit. The food was especially disappointing - the coconut shrimp with mango and tai sauce was too heavily laid ended with oil, the spicy tuna roll had a... More
