The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars was due to lack of service. I think they were understaffed, so this might not be a common occurrence. We had a table on the deck and you can't beat the view of the sunset from there. Also the food was to die for. Had the ahi poke and the... More

Went to the Mala in Lahina- delicious food and ambiance on the deck on the water's edge. Would only suggest being sure to ask for a table on the deck- the interior of the restaurant was VERY loud!

We had the ahi bruschetta which was just fantastic , although listed as an appetizer the full potion(you can request full or half portions) was more than enough for us to be satisfied.

The food was awesome and plentiful. Great service. The view was fantastic. The bill came to $170 for the two of us which did not include the tip. We shared three appetizers, had a total of three drinks and two great entrees. No dessert. The serviettes night need to be change because they left white pieces of lint on our... More

Family (4 Adults) on Valentines Day. Not overly busy but found service to be slow and average at best. Beverage / wine delivery was slow both pre and during meal. Usually when a second wine is requested it is intended to be enjoyed along with the meal. Excuses like "sorry its Valentines Day and the bar is kinda busy" just... More

We discovered Mala in Lahaina in 2009 and loved it. We dined there several times since and found it consistently great. However, that quality of the food did not carry over to the one in Wailea in the Marriott. Too bad.... great view and good service. I have truly enjoyed the wok fried whole fish at the Lahaina location but... More

Stayed at this resort and ate here for both their breakfast buffet and dinner menu. First the breakfast buffet was overpriced for what you got. It was $24.95 (with discount) not including beverages. Next the dinner menu had great choices for meals just very pricey. Service and view were great. Only ate there once for dinner as it was over... More

Mala has fresh delicious food. There are so many terrific choices on the menu it is hard to choose. The wait staff was very helpful to us and we got our meals promptly. Ask for a table looking out at the ocean!

We live on Maui and LOVE Mala's Lahaina location, but had previously been disappointed by the service at the Wailea location. This weekend's visit changed all that! We went for dinner at 6:15 on a Saturday. The service was exceptional - fast and friendly, and the food was great. We really appreciated our lovely server's attention to our kids -... More

We loved the views and enjoyed our meal. Fish is their specialty. Our friends commented that their fish was the best they had ever had! They complimented the chef on presentation and taste.
