We got there early for a pre dinner drink at the bar and to watch sunset. The restaurant is up the hill and the views up over the sea are fantastic. Great cocktails and bar service, and view. We were seated at our table 20mins later than our booked time and were pretty hungry. It was fairly busy and we... More

One of the best meals that my wife and I have had, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about our menu choices. This restaurant is highly recommended and a table on the lanai is perfect for a romantic evening.

I tried to locate the name of the dessert online, but I can't find it. It was unreal - a chocolate, salted caramel thing. I took a picture of it. It's worth the 10 hour flight from NY just to have that dessert! The rest of the meal was excellent too. I had a mushroom risotto. Drinks were great. The... More

Restaurants in resorts could get away with anything since most of their guests were transient tourists. Not any more when we can get ideas from tripadvisor and other sites. Our meal was perfect: kale salad, quail, risotto, seared tuna. The service very attentive to our needs, the view spectacular, the speaker music pleasant. Not too rushed, not slow just at... More

We dined at Capische 2 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Debated about a return visit since we were worried about some negative reviews here. Have to say, our decision to give it another try was the right one !! The service, the food, the ambiance.....nothing at all about our evening was a let down. From Mindy the hostess to... More

Food was very good but extremely small! They are going for the gourmet niche so if you're looking for good food with good portions, this isn't the place for you! Fine dining - yes and you pay for it. You can do the same, but eat more of that delicious food at other local restaurants.

As other reviewers have stated, the wine list is decent, but it is terribly overpriced. Napa Sauv Blanc was 4x retail. I am accepting of 2x or 3x on occasion, but 4x? Hmm. I found the setting amazingly relaxing and beautiful. Away from the crowds and noise, this restaurant sits atop a hill. The decor is also interesting and quite... More

2nd year same story. Lots of wines by the glass but nothing even that has a wine spectator rating and expensive 4 x markup for wines not even rated, very disappointing and highway robbery for an $18 per bottle wine be sold at $21 per glass. Wine Spectator banners hanging on the wall but not a lot worth trying under... More

Didn't love it, didn't hate it. Setting is nice--on a nice lanai overlooking the ocean. Views were relaxing. Restaurant was very quiet. Not exactly lively. Didn't think the wine list was great. Menu was eclectic. While it had lots of choices, some of them were a bit out there. I will say the pumpkin soup appetizer was very good. For... More
