This is a very small cafe but friendly and accommodating. We arrived without a Reservation on Saturday night and they didn't make us wait long at all. Food was excellent with many unique choices. Prices were excellent. The Georgian Bay Whitefish was fabulous.

We were told we would need reservations. But if you dine before six you'll be okay. It's not fancy but it is small and the menu includes perogies and cabbage rolls.

We were in Wiarton for two nights for a family occasion and the motel owner suggested the Green Door for dinner. It was amazing! The service was impeccable and super friendly! Not enough to say about the food! Fresh, excellent taste and presentations and the prices are extremely reasonable. We can't thank you enough! It was such a pleasant experience,... More

Stopped here for lunch on the way home from Tobermory. The food was excellent and fresh, and definitely made up for the small and packed setting. If Wiarton wasn't so far away from home, this would be my go-to for lunch outings.

Stopped for a late lunch, and was pleasantly surprised. Soup was lovely, and we enjoyed the quiche of the day. The appetizer onion rings were great! Pulled pork wrap, Reuben, crispy chicken sandwich, peorgies, all were great.

We happened to be shopping downtown Wiarton and decided to drop into the Green Door cafe. We were lucky with our timing as they normally take reservations and there was an open table available for lunch. The sandwiches were deliciious and filling - made with fresh ingredients. The french fries were piping hot and the best I have ever tasted.The... More

This is a small restaurant and therefore it is recommended to get reservations in order to secure a table at busy times. The menu has a variety of items to choose from most of them the kind of meals one would associate with good home cooking. Service was great, prices very reasonable and the staff very friendly. Highly recommended.

Okay, I had read the reviews of The Green Door Cafe but I have to so, it was better than I expected. It was a nice, quaint restaurant with that real 'ma and pa diner' type feel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was very fresh, portion sizes were big and the best part, the price was actually fantastic.... More

Stopped in for Lunch on our way back from Bruce Peninsula. Checked the reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to check it out. We went with our three kids. Service was excellent, although there was no kids menu, the server told us they could do kids portions of Fish and Chips, Chicken Fingers and Grilled Cheese. My wife had the... More
