Good food and service at a reasonable price

We went for lunch and had a very nice meal in the inside dining room. The patio looked very inviting but we had been in the sun all morning and craved the shade. The two of us had the chicken club with a spinach salad side and a haddock burger with the soup of the day (pork noodle). Both dishes... read more

We enjoyed a tasty meal here while visiting Liverpool. The kids meals are a fantastic value. The chowder was quite good and some interesting salad choices as well. The highlight of the meal were the desserts! My husband enjoyed the bread pudding with orange whiskey sauce, OMG! I was pleased that there were gluten free choices for meals and dessert.... More

Good fish dinner in this scenic location. Just wish there had been local entertainment during our visit.

We ate here a few years ago and remembered it as being very good with a full menu selection. Today we were brought a simple one page lunch menu with not many options. The place was basically empty but we had to wait for service. We discussed leaving after we saw the menu but had already ordered our drinks so... More

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience and bringing some issues to light. I do feel the need to clarify that the servers were discussing that a customer was given the wrong bill to pay and overcharged by $3. They were trying to figure out how to fix the credit card. Early summer comes with many... More

There was a good bar service with martini's for $5 and the meal selection was good too. Breakfast included with our room was excellent.

We went there for supper. The server was great and attentive. The food was very good. The fish and chips were fresh caught haddock and hand cut chips. The batter was thin but crispy. Quiet place to eat and have a glass of wine.

Stayed for two nights at Lanes B&B. Lovely warm atmosphere and friendly greeting by the owner operator. The food at Lanes is top notch. My husband had ribs that were fall off the bone perfection and I had scallops that were fresh caught that day. Delicious. The only downside of our stay was that it was an extremely cold 2... More

A little pricey but the food was excellent and the atmosphere was nice and the staff was very accommodating. I had a steak and my wife had haddock. Both very good.

The atmosphere is very quaint, housed in an historic old home. Our family visited for lunch and everyone was happy. The kids ordered chicken fingers and the adults loved the chowder.
