Great tasting fish and clams. Lovely patios with view of river. Stayed in a King room that was spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast was very good.

On a recent south shore trip to Beach Meadows we decided to have dinner at Lanes before our return. We were not disappointed. Being on the outside deck, we enjoyed a relaxing view of the lovely grounds and waterfront. Our particular choice of fare was great - a flavorful and bold ceaser salad, a delicious lamb burger and a local... More

Been many times as we have bought a place closeby. Staff are always friendly and the food tasty. The bonus is sitting on the patio on a sunny day

Would not recommend, rooms are very outdated even though the website says they are newly renovated. Our room was missing the fridge it said it would have included. Many stairs to climb to 2nd level, stairs were breaking, rotting and needed great repair, not safe. Customer service at check out was poor, morning breakfast was so slow that I had... More

I ordered the chowder cup appetizer and clams but was only served the clams. I noticed the table beside us was served their chowder after their main meal. Our waitress said you must specify when you want your chowder.

If you are in Liverpool, NS you have to have a meal here. This place is a hidden gem of culinary delight. The staff are fabulous, the food was perfect and the deserts all made on site. Don't be in a rush though, Lanes is to be experienced...enjoy a beverage, suck up the ambiance and enjoy.

We stopped for a quick lunch on one of the hottest days of the Summer. The restaurant was cool and in an interesting old building. Lunch was generous and of an excellent standard- highly recommended.

My assistant and I ate lunch here during a visit to the area. The food was average, but the service was good. We ate on the outdoor porch, which was quite lovely, Prices for lunch items were a bit high. Lunch + tip for two cost me $64.

Service slow and confused. People around us were complaining about their bill, portion sizes, wine prices. Our gourmet burgers were pretty but very small. The atmosphere is cool, the food is good, but this place needs some competition to smarten up the service.

We enjoyed a tasty meal here while visiting Liverpool. The kids meals are a fantastic value. The chowder was quite good and some interesting salad choices as well. The highlight of the meal were the desserts! My husband enjoyed the bread pudding with orange whiskey sauce, OMG! I was pleased that there were gluten free choices for meals and dessert.... More
