Wow! The food is awesome and you pay for it too! This is a laidback grill atmosphere on the Mississippi River in the "Natchez Under-the -Hill district." I ate the shrimp and tasso grits. YUM-YUM! huge portions. meals range from about 12 bucks to 35 backs. My meal with water and no dessert was 31 dollars. The fried green tomatoes... More

I had a fried oyster po'boy special at lunch. While alright, it was somewhat unremarkable. the oysters were nicely done, but the rest of the sandwich (bread, dressing, etc.) left me somewhat cold. I have since eaten at 2 other higher rated Natchez restaurants, and am much more impressed. Maybe if I'd been for dinner?

Can't comment on the entire menu since we ordered burgers. Ordered two "Bleu Cheese" burgers. Waiter didn't write down the order I am assuming since it was such a simple one. We got our burgers but no bleu cheese to be found. Had to go someone to let them know. Waiter brought out the missing cheese and proceeded to ignore... More

Great food, service, and ambience with a view of the Mississippi River. Enjoyed shrimp and crab bisque which was outstanding! The shrimp po' boy was good. I would recommend the coconut buttermilk pie. ..mmmm!

We went there for dinner our first night and liked it so much, we went back the second night. Then, on our next trip to Natchez, I made reservations for both nights there again. Their homemade salad dressing is the best I've ever had. I also LOVED their chicken pasta dish. My kids ate it up too. I made our... More

Lovely casual restaurant with great staff and really tasty food, and a pretty setting next to the river.

Everyone in Natchez said go here but we weren't as sold as they were. For the price of the food, service and ambience was more like an upscale burger joint. The redfish was bland given it was Cajun dusted. Quail was better stuffed with crabmeat. If you want to eat at a relatively expensive restaurant in an hour to hit... More

Don't let the casual atmosphere fool you....food here was superb. Best crawfish étouffée I've ever had. Bread pudding amazing. My husband's catfish was also fantastic. The service was a little slow but we were not in a hurry and our waiter was great.

Located under the hill near the Isle of Capris Casino Riverboat, we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and food at this local eatery. There are several buildings along the river which appear to be recreations of what was there long ago -- our rare tuna and shrimp dishes were excellent.
