Really good find Under the Hill in Natchez overlooking the mighty Mississippi and a moored up paddle steamer. We got a table by the window and our server was attentive and happy to talk through the menu options. Everything we ordered starters and entrees was well presented and very tasty. Yes the place was busy and if you want a... More

Title says it all. The area was busy due to its location by the river but we found a parking spot quickly. We had booked a table an hour earlier, which was ready for us on arrival. I really enjoyed the fried green tomato starter and catfish briars main and the rest of our party of four enjoyed their meals.... More

Awesome food and dining experience! The service was excellent and friendly. Go early to get a place to park. Great view of the Mississippi River as you dine.

Stopped by for dinner during Fall Pilgrimage, party of 6 on a Saturday night. The best description I can think of is "Out of Control". Too many people in too small an area with too little service. We were seated relatively quickly and that was it. Drinks and salads appeared in 15 minutes but our food did not arrive for... More

Only spending one night in town last month, and after looking at the various reviews decided on this restaurant primarily for the setting on the river as it would add to the experience. As it turned out, the food was also very good and was good value for money. The service was as you would expect in the south, very... More

It is located in Natchez down under, right on the river. We were able to get a table on the screened porch only because we were lucky. If you want to sit on the porch and enjoy the view of the Mississippi River, I would make a reservation! We ordered the "Samburger" a very flavorful and tender hamburger. There were... More

We had our B&B host call and get us a reservation. We had a great table where we could have dinner overlooking the Mississippi River. Great food. My husband and I had more than we could eat. I had 3 pieces of very good catfish and a stuffed baked potato. My husband had Magnolia pasta with shrimp which was delicious.... More

Had a great lunch here yesterday! I enjoyed the special for the day, hamburger steak! It was great the onions on top really made it exceptional. I had eaten here once earlier with my wife while on an anniversary trip. Both times were enjoyable. Nice friendly atmosphere and service with a great view of the Mississippi River!

I sat in glassed in side porch and drank my cocktail watching the MS river traffic while waiting for my diner. That was good as well as the pork tenderloins! Great views and food!

First time ever to enter a restraunt and have to run down a waiter to ask if its ok to take a seat, then to be told, no, you cant sit there, that area is reserved". "really?" put up a sign or a hostess. Long wait time for initial waiter to appear, even longer for drinks. Arrived 2 hour prior... More
