Definitely has that "whole in the wall" feel but food was great. Has small menu but very tasty and they do it well. Great service and the pies were amazing too. Will be back again soon.

This might be the worst place I've ever eaten at, but that might be because I'm not the target audience? The building is cool. The interior is quite small. You can't have tap water, you have to buy bottled water. Already irked at that. I'm on a diet so I wanted something simple like a chicken salad or some simple... More

First of all bring cash, they do not accept credit cards. Mammy's is not what I expected it to be, but the food was good. I was expecting a small variety of plate lunch to appear on the menu, but to my surprise it only consisted of a daily lunch special. The other items on the menu were sandwiches, turkey,... More

Mammy's Cupboard is a ways out of town, but worth the drive. First, it's just fun to go there and take your picture in front of the restaurant shaped like, and with the body and face of....Mammy! We ate at lunchtime and there was a nice selection of soups, sandwiches and deserts. There were four in our group so we... More

I stopped here on a trip to Natchez and found the place authentic and charming. There can be very long waits during the Pilgrimage. They did, however, have an empty very large table. Those of us waiting just counted down and became a large party. We had tourists from around the country as well as locals. It was the most... More

When I saw the ad, I knew we wanted to eat lunch at Mammy's. Mammy's serves sandwiches and homemade dessert. I had their chicken salad sandwich on homemade bread that was so good. Be sure and save room for their homemade desserts. The blueberry lemonade is so good and refreshing.

This unique restaurant, located in the base of a large statue of Mammy, has been a Natchez landmark for many years. Mammy's was high on our list of restaurants to visit on our return to Natchez this July, and she did not disappoint. Actually, our mouths were set for the fabulous Mammy's burgers and fries, but these are no longer... More

This was our first time eating here and I must say that it was great. Had the Reuben sandwich and the banana caramel pie. Wow!!If you are visiting in this area you need to make this a stop for lunch!

Recommend the pies, especially the banana and caramel. The sandwich had stale bread and beef was chewy. Also be aware the place closes at 2pm. We arrived just before then so we were a bit rushed. No sooner had we ordered that we had our bill.
