There are some places which can never be duplicated. Mammy's Cupboard is one of those places.

It is a longer wait getting a seat inside than getting your food. But the wait is well worth it. I have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. Although each time I have set my expectations higher and higher. There is a good reason you order your dessert first....If you waited... read more

We wanted to visit this quirky restaurant as soon as we saw the reviews on TA and its unique building! The food did not disappoint - my wife had the ham and cheese sandwich whilst I had the turkey and avocado sandwich, both served with a vegetable soup. All tasted fantastic and I would definitely recommend Mammy's Cupboard to anyone!

We had heard about this place and the great desserts. So we drove out from Natchez for lunch. They close 2pm and we got there about 1:00 and still had to wait for 15 minutes. But was waited on immediately by a friendly waitress. We were only going to order pie but heard someone say how good the Chicken Salad... More

We stopped in here because of other reviews, and it didn't disappoint. We had the $10 lunch special of the day which included two slices of pork tenderloin, broccoli cornbread, and two sides. The blueberry ice tea was delicious and the great service kept our glasses filled. Finished with three different kinds of pie because they all looked divine. They... More

A local icon for decades, the paint has faded and the building has aged, but the food is very good, the meringue on the pies is mountainous, and the service is fast. Hours are only 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and if you get there toward the end, they will likely be out of some of their specialty items. The... More

Located on highway 61 South about 5 miles is the infamous "Mammy's". GREAT FOR short order home cooked lunches but be sure to leave room for their delicious deserts. You cannot miss Mammy on the left side of the road........a real treat in itself just to drive by to see her if you don't have time to eat or if... More

Went on a coldddddd Tuesday, and the black bean special (kind of like a red beans & rice) hit the spot. The banana caramel pie is some of the best pie I've ever had. I even commandeered some of my partner's lemon meringue, which was equally delicious. Service was exceptionally fast. Had our food within 3-4 minutes of ordering. Can't... More

Mammy's is a great stop to get out and take some pictures. Prior to being a restaurant it was once a gas station believe it or not. Today it's a big tourist attraction with average food. I ordered the Reuben and the Italian Crème Cake. The Reuben was ok and the cake was pretty good. I wouldn't eat here every... More

How can you drive by and not want to stop. We had lunch here because of the building but really enjoyed our food. I had a roast beef sandwich on homemade sourdough bread. It was very good. My daughter had the chicken salad sandwich which was also edible. I think my wife eon with The Reuben on homemade rye bread.... More

We stayed an extra day in Natchez just so we could visit Mammy's and I'm so glad we did. Their sweet tea hit the spot on that hot summer day! I ordered a turkey sandwich and the fresh sourdough bread literally fell apart as I was eating it...best I've ever had! We also ordered the chocolate pie and it was... More
