great place for lunch

Definitely one on its own its 3/4 miles out of Natchez and is very distinctive. We went to take a photo but decided to stay for lunch. Come on inn sit where you like was the pleasant greeting. This is a great little "just off the highway" restaurants in Natchez. While their southern lunches and sandwiches are perfect: the biggest and best PIE you've ever eaten is made and served here.

Much has changed over the past 12 years. Lunch yesterday and it was so good! Fresh baked bread served up a wonderful sandwich with vegetable soup and potato salad. Blueberry lemonade was good and the deserts were great! Italian cream cake and Banana caramel pie. Friendly, fast service. Looking forward to going back!

This is a hole in the wall between Baton Rouge and Natchez. You will enjoy a meal at this restaurant. The original owner is no longer there but her recipes are--she was a wonderful cook. You will not be sorry to visit this restaurant.

Quirky building and lovely ladies on the main counter. The food was very tasty, i had my first ever Reuben sandwich which i loved, followed by a banana cream pie. Super tasty. All washed down with blueberry lemonade. Really enjoyed our little stop here.

The chicken salad was good, the bread very good. Service was OK, not great but not bad--adequate. I asked for a glass of ice water and was told that I could buy bottled water, I understand they are a business but really.

The local Motormaid chapter had put together an event that would launch from Natchez, Mississippi, and the first meetup was to be for lunch at Mammy's Cupboard. As Motormaids (ladies who ride motorcycles) got wind of this, they rode in from 9 different states. At first it did not look like the restaurant or parking lot would accommodate the size... More

We stopped for a light lunch on our way out of Natchez. I had the soup and salad and my boyfriend got a sandwich. My soup was yummy, but my boyfriend was underwhelmed as his sandwich was a bit salty. I wish we had room for dessert, because that probably would have saved the day. Blueberry lemonade was fabulous tho!

Neat little place just below Natchez! Small and can be crowded but nothing but home cooking awaits! I had the roast beef sandwich with homemade soup. The bread was sweet, soft and delicious! Desserts are crazy good !!

Enjoyed a nice country-style lunch of chicken pot pie with a biscuit and tea here. Yes, the desserts are abso worth it! Delish. Very crowded but seated, ordered, and received food promptly. Server even managed to be nice and talk a bit with us. Plenty of parking and easy back onto the road. Bigger than it looks as there is... More
