I stopped here on a trip to Natchez and found the place authentic and charming. There can be very long waits during the Pilgrimage. They did, however, have an empty very large table. Those of us waiting just counted down and became a large party. We had tourists from around the country as well as locals. It was the most... More

When I saw the ad, I knew we wanted to eat lunch at Mammy's. Mammy's serves sandwiches and homemade dessert. I had their chicken salad sandwich on homemade bread that was so good. Be sure and save room for their homemade desserts. The blueberry lemonade is so good and refreshing.

This unique restaurant, located in the base of a large statue of Mammy, has been a Natchez landmark for many years. Mammy's was high on our list of restaurants to visit on our return to Natchez this July, and she did not disappoint. Actually, our mouths were set for the fabulous Mammy's burgers and fries, but these are no longer... More

This was our first time eating here and I must say that it was great. Had the Reuben sandwich and the banana caramel pie. Wow!!If you are visiting in this area you need to make this a stop for lunch!

Recommend the pies, especially the banana and caramel. The sandwich had stale bread and beef was chewy. Also be aware the place closes at 2pm. We arrived just before then so we were a bit rushed. No sooner had we ordered that we had our bill.

Stopped off here for lunch during a very wet day in Natchez. Great home cooking and lovely, helpful, friendly staff. The food was delicious, sandwiches came with a really nice little bowl of soup. The lemon meringue pie was amazing. Quirky building

Mammy's Cupboard is an architecturally and historically unique bit of the cultural landscape. It is a valuable reminder of stereotypes and racism. It is also a living place that continues to evolve. The family that operate it were warm and friendly, the food simple and delicious, and the pies were outstanding. Some people might prefer to see such anachronistic politically-incorrect... More

After visiting Natchez several times over the years, we, finally, paid a visit to Mammy's. It is truly a southern hospitality gem - homemade bread, soup and desserts. The staff was very friendly, food was tasty and the prices reasonable. Save room for dessert!

Saw Mammy's on a TV show and had to try it. Very interesting. Got there just after a busload of Senior Citizens had walked in. There was one table for two left and we took it. Fulled expected to be waiting an hour or more but we had our food in about 15 minutes. Unreal. Got to gabbing with some... More
