Dinner with wife

Had casual Sunday evening meal. The biscuits and butter jelly was great. We split seafood platter, 2 pieces of catfish, 3 shrimp, and fried oysters. The food was yummy and tarter sauce is great w fish. Over casual place with good bar and friendly folks.

They have tasty hard style biscuits with an excellent flavored butter on the side. Smoked chicken is good.

We were bar hopping and stopped in to have a drink. The cornmeal biscuits and apricot butter are amazing! Drinks were good and everyone was very nice. The owner has two very nice Natchaz bucks and a big boar on the wall that are worth checking out. We would stop by again just for the biscuits!

May have good food and service but wasn't able to eat here. After several advanced phone calls to reserve for a group of 30 or so, the last call to ensure our res was made about a week prior. Totally strange that they'd never heard of us and stated no one had talked to us. We easily booked at Roux... More

We had the whole chicken and an order of biscuits. You get 2 biscuits free but they are not enough. The butter that comes with them has some kind of perserves in it that makes it sinful. My husband and I took over half the chicken home for another meal. It was delicious!

Only a couple of non-chain restaurants open on Sunday's here. I got the burger poboy with fries. The bread was amazing, but the burger patty was dry and under-flavored. Fries were okay. My husband got the fried shrimp poboy and coleslaw. He said the shrimp was pretty good but the slaw tasted almost soured. He was not impressed. On a... More

The setting is charming but I found the food to be just average. Muffalatta was essentially just a layered sandwich and oyster poor boy just okay.

While walking around Natchez, we stopped in the Biscuits & Blues for a snack. We tried the Tin Roof Blonde Ale and Juke Joint beers they have on draft - both very good. We had a bowl of their Crawfish Corn Chowder and JP's Gumbo served with melt-in-your mouth biscuits - delicious. We liked it so much that we went... More
