This relatively new offering gave us the best evening dining experience in Natchez. Although some dishes tend to lean towards the bland side by today's standards, all were quite good and some were simply delicious. Service was attentive and friendly, as well. Note that two chefs are soon to depart, so check out the most recent reviews before reserving here.

You can't beat the setting and atmosphere. Just being there makes you feel special. The food is always great with one of my favorite go-to dishes being the Godchaux Salad. It is piled with shrimp and crab meat over lettuce tossed in a remoulade dressing and capers. It's great for lunch by itself and makes a perfect start to dinner.... More

We stayed at Dunleith and loved the breakfast included in our room so much we decided to have lunch one day as well. Absolutely delightful salad with steamed shrimp and large lumps of blue crab over the top---perfect!!! Service was perfect.

The best salad with crab and shrimp ( although not deveined) I have ever had. The lobster risotto was rich and very generous with the lobster. They were out of two main dishes before 7pm....very disappointed. Service was very erratic, bringing a side dish during the appetizer course? Not filling the waters until I had to get up and ask.... They have the best breakfast buffet and it's something like $10 per person. Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit omelets made to order, waffles and pancakes made to order all included in the price of the buffet. Save your receipt and show it at the Dunleith Historic Inn for a free tour of the house.

We stayed at a B&B that gave a voucher for this establishment as it's 'breakfast'. ( Weymouth Inn) Lucky us! The buffet breakfast was really good. The heated serving trays were refreshed often and the selection was very nice. The dining room is really interesting as it was a carriage house during the plantation's life. After breakfast we got a... More

The Castle is a fine dining establishment at the beautiful Dunleith Mansion Antebellum Estate. The restaurant is located in the former Carriage House on the estate. The food is excellent and the atmosphere quite inviting in a most elegant way. There are two floors and the bottom is more relaxed and appears to be an excellent place to enjoy the... More

This place had a great atmosphere. It all starts when you walk up to that huge door with the lion's head nocker. This is a place you can get dressed up and have a great time. The food is a mix of southern classics and a mixture of new age organic new aged creativity. The bar tenders are top notch... More

We arrived at dusk and were surprised to find the Castle nestled down behind the hotel. It's a beautiful building and the food and service lovely and "Southern." Delicious! Perhaps the best meal we had in our Mississippi visit.
