Had a 1-person pizza, artichoke and spinach. Considering it is a bar was not expecting to be as good as it was. I was wrong. The people I was with said their food was delicious as well. It may not be for everyone, but I love the very local atmosphere...regulars at the bar, drinks all around.

I've been to Bowies on several occasions and it is really growing on me. Descent beer selection and good vibe. Live music on the weekends and plenty of televisions for watching games. Very close to good hotels and other restaurants. If you are in Memphis, it is a great place to have a drink and relax.

Interesting for me since I am a non drinker. Went twice on my recent trip to Natchez. The atmosphere is very nice, great decor. Lots of old antique crocks and jugs. I had the wings (twice) and I recommend them. Also had a pizza. Fun joint, great location, you can walk to many hotels from here along with the convention... More

Recently we went to have a few beer and get something to eat, from the time we got there we never got waited on. I guess if you are of Mexican decent you won't get service. Too bad a nice bar but would not go there again.

Made our fairly basic food quite expensive including the cover charge and as we were going somewhere else afterwards, not worth it.

We went in on a Saturday night because we wanted dinner. The place was right next to our hotel and we had read good reviews about the food. They tried to charge us a cover charge of $5.00 per person because there was a band playing. My husband plays in a dueling piano bar, so we certainly understand cover charges... More

Always have to stop at Bowies for a cold livation when I am in Natchez. The food and drinks are perfect and service is always friendly. Enjoyed seeing Tommy G. who is a mainstay there!!

The food here was expensive and just okay and the crowds were drunk and rowdy, staff was inattentive unless you were buying alcohol and slow to take order and bring out food. Not likely to go back.

We dropped by here during a walk through Natchez, friendly staff and the cheapest beer we came across during our road trip this year 4 bottles bud lite for around $5. We wished we had stayed for something to eat as the food looked really good and certainly looked plentiful but we had already made reservations for dinner elsewhere (big... More

Music was terrible. Service was terrible. The hamburger sucked and was over-priced. I was thoroughly uncomfortable the entire time I was there. I could not wait for my friend to finish up so that we could leave.
