The food was AWESOME, everyone in our party of eight all had great reviews of the food. You may want to split a plate unless you are starving or want to carry a doggie bag home!!! We started off wth fried dill pickles and fried cheese sticks, both were large portions, enough for all eight of us. Then the guys... More

I met my husband in Natchez for the New Year for one reason...Roux 61. Every time we are near Natchez, we make it a rule to go eat here. This is our all-time favorite restaurant and we go out to eat a lot and travel a lot. My husband got the fried seafood platter with his 500lbs of fries. The... More

This is a great place to eat if you love seafood and cajun flavors. The salads were great and the shrimp was delicious. But, be prepared to fork out some money! Very pricey! Our family of 5, kids ages 14, 11, and 7, was over $100. The food was great but probably won't be back.

Then the guys wanted to "try" the seafood gumbo....they both ordered a cup and went on & on about how good it tasted...I personally liked the little bread... More

This place is very family friendly (albeit expensive on kid food). Portions were incredible and you will leave with a to go box. Food came out rather quickly. This restaurant certainly has it together...

The redfish was very good as was the seafood platter with gumbo-- the pasta with the redfish was very rich as was the seafood gumbo so be prepared for that. The service was excellent-- enjoyed the evening in a casual atmosphere.

A staff member at our Bed and Breakfast recommended this place for dinner. We are pleased that we decided to follow his advice. We really enjoyed the food and service at this place. It is more of a roadside tavern. They were very busy when we arrived and we decided to sit at the bar. Cocktails, seafood, and appetizers were... More
