Try the Chargrilled Oysters!

I am not a fan of raw oysters (my husband is), but these appetizers were great! I would recommend a dozen if you are sharing. The parmesan crust really added to the flavor. We both ate Po' Boys for lunch--I had crabmeat and he had one with shrimp, fried clams and roux sauce. I didn't know the... read more

Stopped for late lunch cause the place looked fresh & clean & the parking lot was full at 2:00 p.m. One glance at the menu and we knew it was going to be a winner. Wait staff couldn't have been better and speaking of betting - BET ON THE SEAFOOD CHEESECAKE!!!! Absolutely devastatingly delicious. Rich, full of seafood with a... More

We ate here at 6:00 on a Saturday-almost didn't stop because of the crowd out front, but were told the wait time was 15 minutes ands we were seated in 10. They send you a text when your table is ready, which was convenient on the rainy night we visited. We waited in the car instead of braving the crowd... More

My wife and another couple came out to the Roux for dinner on a Friday night. We got there about 6pm And the parking lot was packed. We had to park in the over flow lot and had to put our names down to be called. They told us it would be about 15 minute wait, and we thought sure.... More

Excellent gumbo and raw oysters . I'm from Cajun country and enjoyed the gumbo very much. If there is a crowd, head to the bar and eat there.

My wife and I were recommended by Natchez Travel Center to this restaurant. The service was excellent with the waitress suggesting a locally brewed blonde ale and appetizers. She heard me discussing blackened redfish and suggested the Delta Queen which consisted of the redfish with large shrimp on top of the fish and all sat in pasta in a white... More

Roux 61 wasn't our first choice but it turned into the best choice. The choice turned into two nights back to back. Seafood and beef were both outstanding. The staff were excellent. A lot of team work went into the service.

The place lived up to its ratings, despite the "down home" look. We got there early and got right in (about 5:30). After that, there was a line, and it was a Monday. The server was a little shy but guided us well. The oysters on the half shell were nice, fat gulf ones, and cheaper than in Biloxi. Most... More

This restaurant is a very busy place! We sat at the bar for dinner and had a huge plate of raw oysters (delicious!) as we had a big lunch that day. Bread pudding dessert was good too. Would have happily returned if we had another night in Natchez.
