Looks like a normal deli, but much better.

Even though we arrived just before closing time, they were able to satisfy all of our wishes completely. The store looked very clean and inviting, the staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious!

My wife was disappointed with her Uptown Chicken Salad sandwich. She said she did not find or taste the walnuts, grapes , or apples. She gave me a bite, and I did get a bit of grape. Too bad, because the combination sounded much better than the execution. I had a Reuben sandwich...strictly ok.

Walk up counter lunch spot. Great chicken salad. Had draft beer. The staff was nice and the place was small and quaint. We had an enjoyable lunch.

Our first stop arriving in Natchez was the Visitors Center, about 12:15. We wanted a quick lunch before we began our excursions. They suggested the Uptown Grocery which was close. Arrived there just as a tour bus was loading up to leave & we thought Oh Oh, may not be the best choice, but went in anyway. Really thought there... More

We were recently in Natchez and ask a local where to eat for lunch as they always know the best places. He told us Uptown Grocery and check out the chicken salad. They have two or three different kinds of chicken salad, along with the normal deli meats. They have several choices of bread too. My husband got the croissant,... More

Went in for steaks, bought nothing. The employees did not even acknowledge our presence and their prices are sky high.

I got an amazing Ruben sandwich. My husband got some sort of hot Italian sandwich I think. We both raved and ate off each others plates. They also have a good local and craft beer selection that you can grab a few and have with your lunch. The little grocery section has some good local stuff and we picked up... More

The food was delicious and the service was great. Excellent sweet tea! It was a little pricey for a Chicken salad sandwich, but after the first bite I did not mind. Excellent. The staff are very friendly and make you feel like family.

This is a great lunch place. If your walking around Natchez and want "Southern" style deli food, this is the place. I highly recommend it. It is a clean, quaint little deli near all the Antebellum homes in downtown. The food is very tasty and very reasonably priced. I especially enjoyed the counter staff. The ladies were kind, pleasant and... More

Good little Deli right down the block from the Hampton Inn. Went in a little after 5:00PM and got 2 slices of Meathead Pizza to go and a salad. The girl working at the counter was very nice and heated up the pizza to go. Pizza was excellent and had a good selection of meats on it. I'd recommend trying... More
