The second we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and hellos. The service was wonderful from the waitress and the other staff members. Even my kids recognized how good the service was. The portion sizes are MUCH bigger than expected. Out of 6 entrées and 2 appetizers, there is nothing we disliked. The hush puppies were the absolute... More

Arrived in Natchez after being on the road for 9 hours. Since this was our first trip to Natchez we did not know where to go or not go. Saw Jughead's on the way to our hotel so we stopped . Did not notice the "B" health rating until after we were served. Can only guess what it stood for.... More

Great catfish, served hot from the oil. My wife and I both made ourselves miserable with the amount of fish we ate. This is not a 5 star restaurant. It is a great fish place. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. The restaurant could use some clean-up and looks a little run down. It reminded me of home. Complete... More

Slow to serve and no smiling servers! Takes roughly 20 - 30 minutes to get your food for a simple fish basket.

Unattractive ambiance, dirty chairs, cheap low-end decor, mediocre overpriced food, and worst of all, truly terrible service. If you want to sit there being ignored, while others walk in after you, and may or may not be served ahead of you, go here. Tip: the downstairs is similar to a dungeon.

Although the food was good, I would not recommend this restaurant . The cleanliness of this restaurant is horrible from the dining area to the bathrooms.(health department should close the doors). This was my 1st and last time to patronize jugheads. The waiter and waitress were not very clean looking either.

I would highly suggest the Catfish Filets. They were excellent and come in a choice of thin or thick cut. I was expecting a little more in ambiance, which it has none of.

This is a "local flavor" place for the locals....Food was okay, but priced a bit high for what we received. If you need a classification this is a Dive!

Good food - lemon pepper catfish was excellent; fried catfish just as good. Spicy potatoes had extra cayenne added and that made them a little too spicy but overall, everything was great!

We originally sat upstairs. Kind of dingy looking a pretty humid. My husband walked downstairs to check it out and immediately came up to get us. Downstairs is very nice and cool!! Surroundings much better suited for a sit down restaurant. Server was very sweet and attentive to us. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Would eat here again:)
