On tour from England, this was just the sort of antebellum house I had imagined to exist in the South. We had a wonderful time on our tour of Stanton Hall. The lady who was our guide was very informative with the perfect Southern accent. She spoke just as if she knew you and was not scripted at all. The interior furnishings are beautiful. This is a must see in Natchez.

The shrimp & grits are definitely the best meal I've ever had. Fried grits topped with shrimp and a chutney tomato relish. Very tastey.

The best kept secret at Stanton Hall is the rose garden. It is a beautiful place with the most wonderful roses. Color galore! A great accent to a beautiful historic house.

This is a national landmark. Right in the middle of Natchez, one gets an idea of the grandeur that must have been in this small, yet highly historic city. The furniture is authentic old south... They will give you a nice tour. You can't miss this house amidst the many other Belles of the South.

My friends and I decided at the last minute to eat at Stanton Hall before our tour. It was 1:30 and they close at 2 pm. The place was packed because of a tour bus, but they found a table for us and we mentioned that we didn't mind if they seated others with us. We met two people from... More
