I would definitely recommend the Carriage House Restaurant to anyone going to Natchez. It was a delicious meal. I had shrimp chowder for an appetizer while my husband had grilled oysters. For my entree, I enjoyed a large serving of BBQ Shrimp served with fresh French bread for dipping. It was spectacular! Definitely not for weight watchers. My husband enjoyed... More

Drank a mimosa and it was awesome the gentleman who served us was so nice. Didn't waist any time serving us. Best food in Natchez so far. I will come back and recommend anyone to come and eat there.

I was driving through Natchez and wanted to eat at the best restaurant in town. I'm confident the Carriage House is it. The Southern delicacies are well worth the stop and the service is very friendly. It's conveniently located on the grounds of the Staunton Hall mansion.

I had the smoked and fried catfish and it was awesome. The fish was smoked and then fried to perfection. It was not greasy with a crispy exterior and tender, juicy fish. There was a mild smokiness to the taste that made the dish incredible.

If you only have time for one meal, don't miss the fried chicken. It was as good as my mother's and my wife's fried chicken. Mash potatoes with gravy, green beans and bisquits. Only open for lunch don't miss it.

We arrived for lunch at 1:15. The place was abuzz with a your group but we were seated quickly. Service was outstanding. I enjoyed the amber Perfect Tin beer. Our entrees were fried chicken and the pork shanks. Really liked the sides of green beans and the beans.

I traveled with a group of 8 ladies and each of us had a wonderful lunch at the carriage house. I tasted 3 different lunch dishes and each of them were delicious. The best fried green tomatoes I have ever eaten!!!! The service was good as well!

Generally when you eat a buffet for at a convention or business dinner, it is just the same baked chicken and mix vegetable bland fare. Our meal at the Carriage House was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. I am definitely going to give it a try the next time I'm in town.
