Don't expect a big place.do watch the light. This place is classic small town pull up and order. talk with a friend are make a friend. The malts are great served by local teenage help. the shrimp poboys are my favorite, dressed and fully loaded. Americana of the south. good choice by my strandards.

Here's what my wife said about her shrimp sandwich: "it was the best I ever had. I dream about it!" I had a shake. Delicious. Great place, nice people. Highly recommend

As a resident that lives 4-5 blocks away, I must say that on many days, I would go hungry if it were not for the Malt Shop. Great service, great food, great price...they know me by my first name. I recommend it to my clients at Old South Massage.

Cannot go to Natchez without a Malt from the Malt Shop. I have frequented the Malt Shop since I was a child and the memories of the food and shakes are always true.

We by quickly for a coke float and peppermint/oreo milkshake (per the workers request). Very fast and reasonably priced -- two medium drinks for $5 even. This place you just drive up, no where to sit, but both the float and milkshake were delicious. Most places I've been to never have a good blend of ingredients, but Malt Shop was... More

The title really says it all. Greasy, delicious burgers and fries. You can call in orders to be picked up, which might be a good idea since the place has been run into by cars a few times due to their location at the dead end of a major street. Not within walking distance to any hotels, downtown, or river.... More

The malt and catfish burger are excellent! I wish I could tell my friends in Japanese to visit Natchez before they die. I just have to visit the Malt Shop every time I visit Natchez!

Delicious shakes and malts with a feeling of history. There were creative flavors served for take away or picnic table dining.

We stopped in twice in two days in Natchez just for the shakes. Lots of flavors!! Really yummy. The weather was nice so it was fun to sit at the picnic table while waiting and chat with everyone who walked up for food/drinks.

My husband & I stopped by the Malt Shop for a quick bite before touring a mansion. The burgers & fries were good. The malt was great! The picnic table out front was the best:) We were able to visit with the locals and enjoyed the visit we had with a dating couple. The Malt Shop is a great spot... More
