Greasy chili over blah tamales...lackadaisical counter service. Not sure what the attraction was. Place was busy, but maybe after the knock you naked margaritas they hope you don't notice the food...

I really wanted to enjoy this place. It was recommended by one of my coworkers. I took my mom here during a short visit and neither of us were impressed. The tamales were ok. The nachos weren't very tasty and could have used way more cheese. My mom had a poboy and she said she didn't care to return for... More

Walk in and be dazzled with the color yellow and festive party style atmosphere. Good selection of ICY COLD beers and outstanding Margaritas! The food is just right and served up quick. Fat mama is behind the counter serving it up right! Eat here!

We had a really pleasant time at Fat Mama's. The margarita didn't knock anyone naked... that's good because we're all old and ugly... LOL but it was good... the food was good... the staff were pleasant... I really enjoyed the decorations... the colorfulness and the just generally relaxed atmosphere.

We ate here at the end of our Natchez Trace trip. This is a nice atmosphere with good food and fast service. Tamales are great, pickles are sweet and cold, the corn bread is ok, but the Taco Salad for some reason hit home for me. Good place to grab some casual grub

We stopped here right before going to the Natchez National Historical Park's William Johnson House, which is just a block and a half away, and it was awesome. The atmosphere definitely shows it to be a Natchez staple. The staff were great fun, and the margaritas are definitely a little more potent than you'd expect. The food's pretty good, not... More

We had just driven 10 hours when we arrived in Natchez, Mississippi. We drove around the historic district near our hotel looking for someplace casual with a fun atmosphere. The restaurant caught our eye with its 'unusual outside motif' advertising tamales and chili. Who goes into a Mexican 'inspired' restaurant in the heart of Dixie. WELL, it was wonderful! The... More

This place is cheap and cheerful, but the food doesn't reflect the price. The chilli bowl was huge and delicious. The tamales, recommended by so many, were an acquired taste to us Brits, but the more you eat, the better they are! Margaritas looked amazing. The lemon icebox cake was delicious. I can recommend.
