Went for the tamales but they're made with pork which I don't eat unless it's BACON, and so I had the taco soup instead which was average. The taco salad was very good and fresh however, and good frozen margaritas. Pleasant, casual inside seating and outdoor patio.

I'm not a tamale person but this place has some really good ones. The only ones I'll eat. And the margaritas are pretty good too. Usually stop by here when we're in the area.

The tamales are awesome but the Gringo Pie is to die for! Super nice staff, awesome food and you can always have yourself a Knock You Naked Margarita! Outside dining is also welcome I believe, though we ate inside. A return trip is definitely in order and I do make it to Natchez fairly often!

This place has been a staple for comfort food and a great atmosphere. The gringo pie is the place to start for new comers. The margaritas are famous and are a must but be careful cause they aren't called knock you naked for nothing. The court yard is a great place to enjoy the ambiance of down town Natchez. It's... We stopped off in Natchez on our way to Vicksburg, and just happened to find this place. A real gem, it's very basic but has a real welcoming atmosphere. Loved the gringo pie, and there was a good range of local craft beers on tap. Worth looking out if you are in the area and want a good values for... More

They boost about having great margaritas but the only thing I can say good about them is that they are cheap. Disgusting I couldn't even drink it. The worst sour dollar store mix I've ever tasted. Here's a clue that it's not a real margarita you can't get it on the rocks, they only serve it frozen. We were going... More

8 tables and bar, tables with plastic tablecloths, and very little atmosphere. Welcome to fat mama's tamales. Order and pay at the bar from a very southern and unique menu that had food cheaper than I have seen in a long time. I had 6 tamales, pickles and boudin as well as one of their famous margarita's and my check... More

What a fabulous place! I wish it were a chain - wait a minute, no I don't because then it wouldn't be what it is, which is a great, local place!

After our mid-morning horse and buggy ride through town we ate a great lunch at Fat Mama's. We did try the tamales and they were great. They also had a taco soup on their menu that was warm and satisfying. Just the ticket for a lite lunch and a warm up before we headed back out into the brisk weather... More

Beer on tap, famous Margaritas. Mexican style food, reasonably priced. Great atmosphere. Families welcome.
