Visited this classic twice on a recent trip. Walked over from the Holiday Inn Express with our dachshund to find out that dogs are invited with guests on the outside umbrella lined deck seating. Nice view to start and great, clean food with plenty of options for healthy fare. The grilled ahi salad was a perfect twist on a nicoise.... More

Popped in here with the 7, 5 and 3 year olds. Very friendly service, great kids burger, tasty chicken pot pie. Great little find.

Clean, bright, cheerful, with many variations on the classic american breakfast menu, and fluffy delicious pancakes.

I had brunch here last week after a morning in the city. I ordered the veggie benedict which was more than met my expectations! The orange juice was great, fresh squeezed. My friends also enjoyed their meals. This a a great place for comfort food that is good, reasonably priced, and not fussy.

We tried a blueberry waffle with mango and coconut and an omelette with shrimp, pepporcinis, kalamata olives, and onions. Both were the morning specials, and both were very delicious! They have a nice area to sit outside where you can bring your dog to dine with you. Very civilized. :) There were a lot of great menu options, plenty to... More

On a trip t SF we returned to this quaint cafe and were delighted to see that it was still serving quality food with a great atmosphere. The baby spinach salad is wonderful. Whatever day it is the soup of the day is good. there is outside seating. the parking lot is in the rear and hard to get into... More

My husband and I came here with my mother to fuel up for a long and active day in the City. We were told breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so they say. We checked out Trip Advisor for the area and saw this posting. So, Mama and I got the Dipsea Special, the traditional meat and... More

My choice was biscuits with sausage gravy and eggs, potato's. My gravy did not seem homemade after reading this was the winner of the Marin newspaper. Service was just ok. Typical California non verbal just wait staff. I still like Barefoot Cafe in Fairfax Ca.

The Dipsea is a solid stop for breakfast, lunch or (three nights a week) dinner. Everyone loves their breakfast, but I tend to come for lunch myself. The service is competent and friendly. The food is good but not outstanding. The place is large and can accommodate big groups. The location is convenient going to/from Mt. Tam, Muir Woods or... More

This is my go to place after a long run on the Coastal Trail. The service is wonderful and everything on the menu is super. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. I dream about their pancakes....
