great location

The food is good and helpings are generous; the outside seating is right on the salt marsh--beautiful! They are dog friendly. The coffee is delicious. It is a short walk to the Holiday Inn Express where we stayed. You can't go wrong for breakfast or lunch at the Dipsea Cafe. We didn't eat there... read more

Food is great. Good value and a nice view outside. The menu had lots of choices and a meeting room as well. Parking is out back. The staff was courteous and attentive. Appears family friendly.

Nice variety of food. Everyone ordered something different & it was all excellent. Staff was great. Prices were a bit high but you got so much food for the money. They have inside & outdoor dining overlooking a river. Restrooms were very nice as well.

Windows overlook an estuary with herons and other marsh birds. Inside, the decore is kitchy 30s -50s vintage scenes and logos. The breakfast / lunch menu offers a variety of choices. This time we tried the corned beef and eggs, and the Gravlax(lightly cured salmon) Eggs Benedict. Delicious!

Great breakfast in a busy & loud atmosphere. The food is really good! But remember that parking can be tricky.

We were here for breakfast. Service was slow and basic breakfast food was unremarkable. The decor is pleasant with lots of nostalgia based items which made it homey.

On our way to Muir Woods after a morning of showing the view spots to the visiting nephew. Hungry and not sure where to stop with a dog we spotted Dipsea as we entered Mill Valley. Location is great, along an inlet, nice wooden ped bridge nearby. Outdoor seating with maybe 10 tables and a huge dining room. Waited on... More

OK, it's right on your way to Stinson or Muir beaches, so it's not really hidden. We go there as often as we can when we're on our way to the beach. Parkling is iffy, at best, as the lot is pretty small, but the food is above average and we really enjoy the 'hominess' of the restaurant. If you're... More

This is a very popular cafe with the locals, making weekend parking and table waits iffy. Food quality and quantity is very good. Our experience included a very loud, Toddler Birthday Party at several adjacent tables!!
