Very good breakfast and lunch

The locals visit here, so you know it's good. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but a great little cafe with charm.

This place has a large menu that can accommodate my picky eaters. The lunch and breakfast were both good, but the service was slow. The location makes up for it though.

Outdoor dining on the river, great food, great portions, decently priced. We had Chicken Fried Steak and Joe's Special and both were excellent. Buy their homemade grape jam, it's to die for!

The food it fine, but the hard wood floors and glass wall makes it very noisy. We ate there once about 10 years ago, but it was so noisy we never bothered going back. But this year we took some out-of town friends there, and managed to get a seat on the porch which was much more pleasant. Noise is... More

This little Gem is not far from Muir National Monument. We went in and sat down. Our waitress who was very friendly and helpful, greeted us. we all ordered the Fish and Chips. a fruit smoothy, banana milkshake, delicious hot cocoa, and chocolate milk completed our order. the Fish and Chips were delicious, not greasy, the chips (french Fries) were... We stopped here on our way to Muir Woods because we were starving. It turned out to be a good choice. My Cobb salad was great and everyone was pleased with their meals. Would definitely come here again

We had a wonderful breakfast, the chef puts their special secrets in all the items. this is not your typical breakfast restaurant. It is well known to the Mill valley residents, but I suspect they are trying to keep this gem to themselves.

I think it could be much more than it is but the food is juat average. The prices are high, but they can charge being one of thw only breakfast places in mill valley. Everytime we go we have had the hardest time gettimg pur bill at the end and then them collecting payment.

The food was....ok. Just ok. I want more than ok for the $52 spent on breakfast for two. My hubby ordered the cornbeef hash and eggs and I got an dish with spinach and poached eggs. The spinach was a blob of sauteed spinach with an egg on top. Nothing more, nothing less. The service, however, was spot on and... More

Went here for Mother's Day. 3 Seniors, 3 Adults, and 1 young gentleman. To a person we could not understand the high praise we had ready about before going. This was a destination restaurant for all of us each driving an hour to get there. Won't be doing that again. Nice venue, polite people and higher end pricing. Unfortunately the... More
