Fabulous service, fabulous food!

I have been to Frantoio's twice. Mauricio and Deborah provide the most amazing service you could hope for! I usually will not order lamb when I am out because when I do I always think, "I make it better at home". Mauricio told me I would love the lamb and I did! I can't make it THIS good at... read more

Frantoio isa gem of a place, great food, good service and a beautiful setting. They host the Mill Valley Film Festival every year and are known fir their cuisine. You can sit at the bar or in the dining room. Ask for a raised banquette for a small group wanting a soecial evening!

I was staying at the adjacent Holiday Inn Express, needed dinner, heard this was okay, ate by myself. Frantoio is a HUGE place, tastefully done but still cold, not cozy. I was seated by a friendly woman, ordered a drink, which was served promptly. However the waiter seemed to be in a hurry to attend to other customers (of which... More

This place is amazing. The dining room with its huge olive oil press offers a perfect setting for great food. However, we love to eat at the bar so we can enjoy the service of Jason our favorite bartender

Part of the Hotel it is attached to it offers some of the best Italian food around. It is on the the grounds Holiday Inn Express but operated separately.

We live in Mill Valley and have been frequenting Frantoio's for years. Its a neighborhood gem. The bar and seating area is usually free when we arrive, so we can pop in on the spur of the moment. Same for dinner....we can always get a reservation because the restaurant is big. We have hosted high school graduation parties, 55th birthday... More

We are visiting from Minnesota and stopped in for a drink. Ended up having a awesome and delicious pizza. Perfect thin crust with a crisp on the bottom. We ended up chatting with the bartender and manager about where to sight see the next day. Every dish that came out of the kitchen looked delicious

I booked this restaurant sight unseen, through open table because it was near our holiday rental. When we drove by it and I saw it was attached to a Holiday Inn Express, I had an "oh no, what did I do" moment. Christmas Eve dinner at a hotel eatery, and a budget one at that? How could it be good?... More

The pizzas are divine. My husband favors pasta dishes there…any or all of them! The in-house made olive oil, when available is "to die for!" The bar area has a terrific happy hour with AMPLE seating available. Full bar and very skilled bartenders. It's in our "rotation" to visit at least once a month. If we lived closer, it would... We ate here 5 yrs ago and thought it was mediocre. Tried it again and loved it! The chef knows what he is doing and the service is excellent. Great cocktail list too. We also noticed it was packed so the word must be getting out
