Great night with some delicious homemade pasta

We went to Piazza D'Angelo with another couple. The atmosphere and service were great. My wife got the ravioli with burrata and kale that she is still talking about. I got the homemade squid-ink spaghetti with lentils. The nicely-restrained portion was delicious. I particularly enjoyed their... read more

The food here is delicious and a great value. They also have amazing prices on brunch drinks. We will be back!

Open, friendly, and nice variety of choice along a California_ Italian served by helpful staff that does not rush you. Atmosphere excellent though bar area can be loud. Outside area though protected from the elements is more quiet on a noise night. Afterward stroll around downtown Mill Valley, look in the Book Depot or go to Nocci for great gelato.... More

I had lunch with my mother and daughter at Piazza D'angelo on a sunny afternoon, all a welcome change after a New England winter. The bread basket with pesto was delicious as was the coffee. Our server was professional and pleasant. My spinach ravioli was only average as the pasta was rather tough. My mother said her risotto was sublime,... More

We actually found a relatively quiet spot on an outside patio warmed with lamps. While many of the other diners seems to be ordering wood-fired pizza, we had fancier dishes like salmon . Very good meal, gracious and attentive service despite the large crows of diners (in a thursday nite!), and an excellent winelist with both Italian and California wines.... More

D'Angelo's has gone a bit upscale with new menu items - it is not your average "meatballs & spaghetti" restaurant anymore. I was very surprised and pleased with the menu and quality of food, plus the service was very good.

We have always enjoyed our visits to D'Angelo's but was disappointed on the last visit. The menu has changed and it is trying to be something that it shouldn't be. Most of the pastas had some kind of pork in it and other ingredients that were not recognizable. They were serving dishes with lamb cheeks and pork butts and strange... More

I don't know how they do it, but D'angelo feels like both a special occasion place and a cozy neighborhood stop. It's a must when we have guests from out of town. Also a good place to talk business, or stop for late afternoon glass of wine. A Mill Valley institution.

Our last visit was perhaps 15 years ago since moving to La Jolla and we were not in the least bit disappointed on our return visit. In fact it is much more upscale since the remodel and the ambiance is still there in spades. I wish we could clone D Angelo's and bring it to SO CAL. Oh, by the... More

Food here is very good, fun atmosphere on a Saturday night. Our server, Nytasha, gets 5 stars. She made the evening.
