Found a metal strand in my fish about 2 inches long. Disgusting. This place is poorly run, nobody really gives a darn about the service, customers nor the quality of the food.

Great food, good service, nice people, what's not to like about this little restaurant! They also do private catering which is excellent!

Located in a quaint little town, the ambience was really nice, service was on par with that you'd expect and the food was about average too. Nothing to complain about really, but not "really great food."

I have lived in Mill Valley for 19 years. This is both an 'occasion" restaurant AND a last minute" hey lets go out for dinner" kind of place . Always a warm welcome by the owners, food and service are top notch. A great home town restaurant that caters to both locals and visitors. I always recommend D'Angelo's to my... More

My wife, son and I had Mother's Day early dinner at Pizzza D'angelo and really enjoyed it. We had been there last fall for a nice Saturday evening dinner and thought it would be the right spot to celebrate Mother's Day. It did not disappoint. It was a busy day there, but we were seated when we arrived for our... More

The food was good but the service was horrible. The waiter was hard to understand, and seemed to have an attitude..... The food came before our drink order came, and the beer I ordered was unavailable. Too bad as this place came highly recommended.

We've been in Mill Valley for 22 years and we've watched d'Angelo follow the reverse trajectory of most restaurants. Over the years it has moved from mediocre, to very good, and now excellent. It is a big and bustling place, but it still has a warm community feel to it. And the relatively new chef, Andreas, has moved the menu... More

Piazza d'Angelo welcomes you in a cozy, heartwarming atmosphere. The restaurant is spacious, elegant, and with a great bar with lots of interesting bottles on the shiny shelf. The personnel is very kind and helpful, and ready to help you in choosing from a big menu. It's like eating in a time bubble because the place retains a flavor of... More

Their pizzas and pastas are always wonderful. My friend had a chicken salad which looked like left-overs. I had the baby chicken, new to the menu, which was served with sauteed zucchini and patty pan squash. The bird could have been a little less cooked but the veggies were perfect. My husband had a pizza and was not disappointed. Atmosphere... More

Had just spent the day hiking Mt. Tam, so we looked haggard, but were made to feel welcome. Had a Lamb ragu Caputi that was out of this world. We all felt it is one of the best meals we ever had. Get a table on the terrace. You can enjoy eating al fresco without the noise and dust of... More
