This is the place to see and be seen in Mill Valley

Many a famous face visit this eatery, I like to call it the DIG ME bar because everyone there is thinking dig me, no dig me! The menu has something for everyone, from fresh pizza to a good steak. The bar scene is very active and can be a lot of fun. Outdoor seating on summer nights is a plus.

Really fine, and very true Italian cuisine. Great dinner, fine wine, and killer desert, and very reasonable. I recommend unreservedly. Very lively in the front by the entrance, and yet subdued and relaxing towards the back. Very nice crowd, great service. Perfect.

We recently visited Mill Valley for the first time on a family vacation. The adults needed a break from the kids. The ambiance was elegant, but casual and the same for the food and drinks. The sausage pizza was probably of the best I've ever had.

Upscale restaurant...don't expect a pizzeria like we did. Wonderful atmosphere and good eats. Service was a bit choppy though.

We had an excellent dinner here. The portions were perfect, and the food delicious. I had a tortellini with fresh tomatoes and beans. It was excellent, as was my daughter's margarita pizza. The waitstaff was very friendly, and the service was excellent. This is a good restaurant for a romantic dinner or a family gathering.

We came by bike from sausalito and were looking for a place to rest and enjoy a good meal. We really enjoyed the venue which has tables inside and in a patio. The food was very good, very well presented and with a very good price range compared to many restaurants. They have a large menu which will please a... More

We ate lunch here twice. First time I had a Bolognese pasta special which was awesome. The second time I shared a pizza and a salad with my husband. They hand-make all their pastas and pizza dough. Delicious. They have a good wine and beer selection, too. The service is great.

I have been going here for years, always packed, always good. Lunch and dinner are great and the staff are long term and attentive. Food is consistently good including their pizza pie. The bar gets packed pretty well most nights as well. Great selection of wines by the glass.

All four of us enjoyed our lunch items. The restaurant menu was extensive with a large selection of lunch specials. The daily soup (potato leak) was very good as was the salad. We did not have any beverages; the bill for the four of us was about $66, not including gratuity.

Piazza D'Angelo Ristorante is a first-class Italian restaurant, with excellent cuisine and reasonable prices. And a good wine list with selections in all price ranges. The Caesar salad was one of the finest I've ever had - the slices of Parmaggiano cheese were stunning (imported from Italy), the dressing was not too heavily applied and was subtle in its flavors....
