Ordered a standard tuna appetizer with "asian salad" and for $17 received four translucently thin slices from a small cube of tuna fanned out over a bed of cold slaw with some soy sauce...really? is this your idea of a sick joke?? What a rip off place trading on its status as "historic" MV restaurant...

I love sitting at the bar and having their Oysters Bingo, it is such a warm and welcoming environment from Valet to Dessert.

I know I am going against the grain here, as this restaurant is a long standing favorite of locals. However, I find the food almost always too too heavy, with extra large portions, sauces and sides. The service is good. The parking is a bit strange as it is right on the on/off ramp of the highway, but it is... More

Love this place, particularly eating at the bar. That being said, the bar is often very, very crowded and the bartender service is can sometimes be lacking. The dining room is too noisy, especially the upstairs, for my taste. They have a phenomenal menu, but be prepared for a hefty bill, particularly if you add cocktails and/or wine. It still... More

Buckeye Roadhouse is a beautiful little spot just off the 101 and north of the Golden Gate Bridge. My family and I had an awesome meal. Not cheap, but not at all over the top. The holiday decorations were spot on.
