Pork chops were very good, but a little fatty. Forever, the polenta was amazing. Our waiter was very informative and very kind.

We love the activity and service in the bar. In we often eat there if we cant get into the dining room because the menu is the same. Reservations are a must. Anything smoked and BBQed is a winner

This appetizer was one of the best I ever had, don't miss it even if you don't care for oysters. Delicious! The steak, the ribs, the side dishes - all were great. The atmosphere, warm and cozy, and since I am from the Buckeye State, I felt right at home.

We had dinner here, the wine selection was good, and the food was excellent. I had the pork chop and my wife had the ribs. Both were well above average, and the service was great. A real outpost for basic good food.

This food is always amazing. Book early as they are Jammed. The bar is always at capacity. It has some of the best food ever. You have to go online and see the menu. Reservations a must. Too Popular.

The location off of US 101 in Mill Valley is a bit tricky to find. Free valet parking ( with tip) which is a nice touch. Interesting attractive decor. We were seated on the main floor promptly at the time of our reservation. It took some time before the server attended our table but thereafter the service was fine. This... More

Maybe we visited on a bad night, but this was an all-around disappointing experience. The wait was long (even with a reservation) to be seated, and it took an extremely long time for our food to be served. The ribs had barely any meat on them, and the rib eye had more fat than meat. The service was mediocre -... More

We were with a group of six. The food and atmosphere were excellent. The lamb was among the best that I have had. But I want to particularly express my gratitude for the parking staff. As we left the restaurant, one of our cars wouldn't start and it was raining. The parking staff made a valient effort to start the... More

I did not expect excellence at the Buckeye - and I was not disabused of my initial impression. The ambiance is genial, warm, comfortable and the service staff unfailing polite. My visit was midday on a Sunday. The Buckeye was packed, but (judging from the parking lot) that always seems to be the case. I was told that I must... More

I have been going to Buckeye since it opened 25+ years ago, the ribs are meaty, well barbecued with and outstanding sauce. i substitute the yams with french fries which are outstanding. The duck breast also never disappoints , done medium rare, its also tender and well seasoned
