Great Job Sammy!

Had a great meal at Sammy Hagar's restaurant. Ordered the 32 ounce Cowboy Ribeye, which had to be the most expensive steak I have ever ordered at $84. It was excellent and I have no regrets about getting it! Cool layout to the restaurant with several separate dining rooms. Wife enjoyed her... read more

Excellent atmosphere and location. High quality and choice menu. excellent preparation and service. do not rush your meal here. stay and savor. Though it has had through the years different owners it has been consistently excellent. we have gone here once or twice a year for decades and go for special occasions.

Unobtrusive, understated, but with an ambience that can be romantic, or energetic depending upon where one sits in this restaurant, El Paseo serves the best prepared steaks along with a diverse but interesting menu. The cowboy ribeye steak (for 2) is incredible. Specially seasoned, beautifully presented, and incredibly tasty, itis our favorite. Service has been attentive, beginning on arrival, followed... More

My favorite place in Marin. Fantastic food and great atmosphere. Tucked away in a little brick alley in Mill Valley, it's easy to forget you're in California, and not in Europe. Come early for drinks around the outdoor fire. Love the dark ambience. Great wine list.

This restaurant is situated in a discreet area in the centre of Mill Valley. It is well worth visiting. It has a lovely ambience with subtle lighting ( but not too subtle). We visited as a family group and were impressed by both the food choice and quality of what we chose. One can bring one's own wine (and pay... More

We find with a party of eight alone in the wine room. Surrounded by bottles and eating on a simple wood table, but with elegant cutlery we had a marvelous New Years Eve experience with the intimacy for our group that is so rare in a dining experience that is not secured in a rental off the main dining room... We were celebrating European trips with friends who had visited El Paseo before the change of ownership, and had had a great experience. We were seated in a dark table near the bar area and could barely see. We were informed by the manager that the lighting was all on timers and could not be increased, that all the table... More

I DREAM ABOUT the bone marrow!!!! Wine and beer only, but great selection of both. Corkage is only $25 if you bring your own bottle of wine. My husband LOVES the burger!! They need to bring back the devils on horseback (bacon wrapped goodness!)!! Outdoor dining when weather permits is LOVELY!!! Service is amazing and attentive. We are lucky to... More

Very charming restaurant, great central location, fantastic filet, good wine. My dessert was good, but not the best - the chocolate coconut. Definitely recommend el paseo.

We are local Mill Valley residents and we go to El Paseo probably once every 4-5 weeks. My husband and I usually sit at the Bar. Great place to grab a bite and a nice glass of wine or have a nice meal in the dining area. We love the big table and also the booths. The food is delicious.... More
