Always happy to eat here when I need a break from too much indulgence. This is a "hole in the wall" joint and definitely NOT a dining experience, but food is healthy, fresh, plentiful and reasonably priced. Very laid back but the counter staff is cheerful. Big with the yoga crowd and young moms with babes in strollers. Love Ishtar's... More

Cafe Del Soul is one of my favorite spots in Mill Valley for delicious and healthy food. They have wonderful salads, rice & bean plates, wraps, and smoothies. The banana bliss smoothie is my favorite! The service is consistently friendly and I always leave feeling happy.

My wife and I recently ate at both the Mill Valley and the San Rafael location. We are both vegetarians and, to paraphrase another review, "This was just my style of food and I imagine many would agree." The menu is inventive and eclectic, the food is fantastic and quickly delivered, and--while the San Rafael location is pretty Spartan--the Mill... More

We visited this restaurant because we'd dined at Mill Valley's number one, according to Trip Advisor, and this place was listed as number two. I should have known from the name that it appeals to a particular (and in my view, narrow) clientele. Be that as it may, I seriously think that the Tripadvisor results are rigged. Cafe del Soul... This local gem is so amazing. fresh juices, salads and Rice dishes with unique Combinations which really seem to hit the mark on Flavor, Healing ingredients and Vitamins! Try the REMIX salad(Lettuces, Edamame..I forget so good), the Curry Sol Good Rice plate or the Ishtar's delight(green/red lettuces, cucumbers, hummus and cranberries) with Tofu as a starting point if you've never... This place is a very convenient resting spot after hiking in Mount Tam, with tons of healthy options! Cafe Del Soul offers a bunch of quinoa dishes, and other yummy dishes with black beans, cheese, avocado, etc. I've been here a few times. The first time, I had the quinoa quesadilla, and my wife had the quinoa cool. We both... More

Delicious, affordable, quick, super-friendly, and healthy. The wraps were so good we bought two extra to bring on the plane the next morning (thankfully our hotel room had a refrigerator). Our cashier, Caleb, was very helpful and patient in taking our orders. His suggestions were spot-on and these three hungry hikers were more than satisfied. The food took a few... More

If you feel overloaded on meat and are contemplating a hike up Mt. Tamalpais, take a meal at Cafe Del Soul, an unpretentious restaurant in Mill Valley. The Chipotle Sun Goddess is very popular and one bite will tell you why. Slake your thirst with a beverage made of ginger and try any of their wraps. Hey, you are in... More

We stopped at Cafe Del Soul on our way to Muir Woods, and were pleasantly surprised with the great quality of the food served here. My wife and I tried the Chipotle Sun Goddess and the Curry Soul Good rice dishes with chicken, both were very good. We would suggest the small portions though unless you have a real big... More
